The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for an adjunct professor to teach in our Marine and Environmental Programs in Spring 2024, with a potential to extend into future semesters. Courses this adjunct will teach include, but are not limited to, Marine Fisheries Policy and Research Methods in Marine Social Sciences. Qualifications Demonstrated near-native or native language ability in Modern Hebrew A minimum of a Master's degree (M.A.) in a relevant field such as language pedagogy (preferably in Modern Hebrew language and literature), second language acquisition, or linguistics Prior experience teaching Modern Hebrew language courses at the college/university level Experience in contemporary second language teaching methodologies, instructional technologies, heritage/non-heritage teaching, and curriculum development are highly preferred Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment Proof of ongoing professional development
