Technical teaching experience a plus. Proficient in the principles and practices of the HVACR industry. Skilled in using industry-standard tools and equipment. Capable of teaching students safety, tools and materials, installation, troubleshooting, and repairing various commercial and HVACR systems. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other common software programs. Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills for effective teaching. EPA Universal Certification preferred. Ability to work effectively with high school and adult learners and to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with students, staff, faculty, industry partners, and the public. Knowledge of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) labeling and policy a plus.
