The Surgical Care Center provides for wound and ostomy care, pre surgical assessment, post surgical follow up and support for podiatry services. The Surgical Care Center works closely with Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Foot and Ankle, General Surgery, Diabetic Foot/Vascular, Colorectal, and Plastics. The center is staffed with Advanced Practice Nurses with a collaborative practice agreement with the Burn/Trauma Services and Colorectal Physicians. The center provides excellent, compassionate wound and ostomy care to individuals consistent with their medical needs.
