Participate in discipline assessment activities, including assessment design, data collection, and report writing;
Apply culturally relevant and empathic pedagogies to the teaching and learning process;
Engage students in their learning through active collaborative learning approaches;
Engage in student outreach events to increase visibility of the psychology program and to improve the learning outcomes of students taking psychology classes;

A current, unencumbered Maryland (or compact state) and/or DC Registered Nurse license or the ability to obtain a license before hire.
Bedside nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting and/or specialty care area of nursing (mental health, mother/baby, and pediatrics) within the last two years.
Proficiency with technology that includes the ability to use a Learning Management System (LMS) and other web-based instructional technologies to facilitate learning.
Teaching experience appreciated (includes precepting). Experience with multiple teaching modalities, engagement with online resources, and other technology is appreciated. Experience in patient teaching is an essential skill.

About the Guitar & Bass Instructor Role
As a Guitar & Bass Instructor at Bach to Rock Herndon, you'll teach private lessons and small groups on acoustic and/or electric guitar (and optionally bass). What We're Looking For

12+ years emerging professional performance experience.
Comfort working with children and teens in a lesson setting.
Reliable personal transportation to our school.
