    Seeking a fulltime 9-12 th grade English instructor August 2026 at Liberty Common High School in Fort Collins, Colorado - a Poudre School District charter school dedicated to college-preparatory instruction. The school currently enrolls over 340 high-school students. LCHS provides excellence and fairness in education by teaching 1) a contextual body of organized knowledge, 2) the skills of learning, and 3) the values of a democratic society. This is done through parental choice, partnership with teachers, and student acceptance of responsibility for his/her academic effort. The English instructor has responsibility for program planning, curriculum development, and delivery of English instruction in cooperation with the school's existing English Department, and Liberty's elementary school. Courses taught may include Western Literature, Composition, AP Language and Composition, other core courses, and English electives. All courses taught include the study of literature, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
