ABOUT THE POSITION: The Department of Computer Science at The University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position with the rank of Lecturer beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will teach four computer science courses per semester during fall and spring. The successful candidate will also serve as a faculty mentor to undergraduate students like other members of the computer science faculty. The department plans to focus on the local area as there is a large talent pool we would like to leverage. The Computer Science department offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Computer Science and contributes to interdisciplinary graduate degrees in cybersecurity and software engineering. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must possess a M.S. degree in computer science or related field, while a Ph.D. is preferred.
