PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serves to support the Residency Program Director at St. Mary Medical Center (Langhorne, PA) and Nazareth Hospital (Philadelphia, PA) in the provision of resident clinical supervision for the Family Medicine Residency Program, Family Medicine Center, and its Faculty/Staff in order to insure the highest level of Family Medicine training and to maintain quality driven, evidence based care for patients and families on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service and within The Family Medicine Center. Course Designer, Brewing: The Course Designer will be responsible for developing curriculum for our new Brewing Degree Program. This role involves creating engaging and informative courses that cover all aspects of brewing science and operations, ensuring that students are well-prepared for careers in the craft brewing industry. Courses may be on-campus or online. Adjunct Faculty, Brewing: Adjunct Faculty are instructional personnel whose services are contracted on a semester/term by semester/term basis. The workload is limited to two course sections per semester/term, unless three course sections are required to meet the needs of the students and/or College. Adjunct Faculty are paid by the credit hour. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Instructor: Develop, prepare, and teach all assigned course while ensuring that course outcomes are met. Provide students with feedback and academic support. Minimum Qualifications Education Required: + Bachelor's degree in Fermentation Science, Chemistry, Biology or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred. + ServSafe Alcohol Certified Proctor preferred, but not required. + ServSafe Sanitation Certified preferred, but not required. Experience Required: + At least 2 years' relevant experience in the craft brewing industry. + Experience writing course curriculum at the college level preferred + Teaching experience at the college level, preferably at a two-year institution. + Experience in the use of instructional technologies. Skills/Abilities /Knowledge /Other Requirements: + Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. + Use of learning-centered teaching methodologies. + Evidence of a strong commitment to teach and remain current in the field. + Experience teaching in both face-to-face and online instruction.
