Desired/preferred qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with the ability to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, along with research experience in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Ideal candidates will have expertise in courses such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Procurement, and Supply Chain Analytics, as well as proficiency in applied learning and current technologies relevant to these fields. Additionally, applicants who can demonstrate intercultural competence with diverse groups in teaching, research, and service are strongly preferred. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be well-qualified to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics areas, contribute to the development and enhancement of the Global Supply Chain Management Option of the Business Administration and the Master of Science in Supply Chain Analytics (MSSCA) curriculums, and develop new courses as needed, such as Foundations of Supply Chain Analytics, Artificial Intelligence in Operations Management, Big Data in Supply Chain, and Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management. The candidate should also be able to teach analytical programming skills and technologies relevant to operations and supply chain, including spreadsheet automation, R, Python, and other related technologies. In research, the candidate is expected to sustain quality scholarship by publishing in peer-reviewed journals. In service, the candidate will actively engage in identifying and pursuing opportunities to support the department, college, university, and professional community. Appointments from the part-time pool are often made just prior to the start of the academic term, so applicants must be available on very short notice.
