Getting an approved instructor application is the
first
step. After you receive an approved instructor application, you must have your background check submitted to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency before you can receive a Provisional Certification. You must have a certification before you can be hired by any school. Once hired, the Initial Instructor Certification Course must be completed no later than the 30th calendar day following employment start but can be completed much sooner. You will receive instructions on all of that once you have an approved application.

Officer instructors must have at least a bachelor's degree. Instructors will exhibit only the highest levels of personal and professional conduct while serving as an Air Force Junior ROTC instructor. All Air Force Junior ROTC instructors are deeply involved in their communities. Instructors devote themselves to cadets in the classroom and during LDR activities.
To successfully serve as an AFJROTC Instructor, an applicant must be able to:
1) Conduct Academic Classes
2) Lead Before and/or After-School Activities
3) Lead Off-Campus Events
4) Be an Ambassador of the Air Force
5) Complete any additional state and/or local school district mandated teacher certification or continuing education requirements

Job Description
ProTrain is currently recruiting for an experienced in-classroom instructor with experience teaching an EKG Technician course.
Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 3 years as an EKG Technician.

Teach and assist the “pit” section players with mallet technique and the memorization of music.
Assist in teaching drill for the show. Choreograph sticking and drum line movement to match the drill.
Monitor and control student behavior according to established procedures.
Maintain inventories of percussion supplies, materials and equipment.
Adjust and maintain percussion instruments ensuring timely availability for student use.
Be able to work outdoors and indoors; exposure to sun, heat, cold and inclement weather.
Other duties as assigned by the Band Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Strong background in marching band, percussion performance. University marching band, drum corps, or percussion performance group preferred

* Associate's degree in Surgical Technology required; Bachelor's or Master's in a health-related field preferred.

* The equivalent of 2-4 years' teaching experience in an Academic or clinical setting
* Current skill and knowledge in the use of information technology and demonstrated experience with the integration of computer technology into instruction.
* Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and counseling skills
* Willingness to travel and teach among four campus sites and teach evenings/weekends as required by department needs.
