Responsibilities:
Conduct flight training in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies and procedures

Provide pre-flight and post-flight briefings to students

* Participates in the general activities of the instructional unit, including personal development, planning, and center-related events.

* Attend instructional team meetings and trainings.
* Respond to all program requests.
* Travel to all campuses and satellite locations as needed.
* Other duties as assigned by unit supervisor and CEWD administration.
* At all times exercise professionalism and confidentiality with staff and students.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Teachers Certification preferred.

The Rutgers-Camden Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office is seeking an instructor who can teach the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills ( CARS ) section of the MCAT exam and also serve as the instructor of record for the MCAT workshop course that is offered to undergraduate students for academic credit. The course may utilize materials from a test preparation company such as Kaplan and will be supplemented by American Association of Medical Colleges ( AAMC ) materials and direct instruction. The course will cover all four sections of the MCAT exam, with separate instructors teaching each of the three other sections. The instructor of record will coordinate the work of the other instructors and ensure that the course runs efficiently and effectively. The course will be offered in person in Camden, NJ. Two of the four topics on the MCAT will be addressed each class session, which will be held one afternoon a week. The other two topics will be taught the following week. The CARS instructor therefore will attend class once every other week. The instructor of record should expect to spend approximately 2 hours every other week instructing students, with additional time allotted for grading, office hours and various administrative duties related to oversight of the course. Primary responsibilities of the MCAT Workshop instructor of record will include: ● Create and maintain course syllabus with co-instructors, based on template utilized in prior years ● Develop content for selected area for the semester ● Maintain attendance and grade records ● Assign final grades in consultation with co-instructors ● Provide tips, resources, guides, etc. to support and supplement instruction ● Be available to students for questions after class / via email and for any concerns with other sections of the course ● Be available to other instructors for support with their sections ● Ensure course is functioning effectively and efficiently ● Work closely with the RUC Learning Center Staff for all matters related to classroom management ● Consult with the instructors to determine appropriate mid-semester progress reports and final grades and ensure timely submission of both ● Work closely with FAS Dean's Office for academic matters and final grade submission
