Kids Kollege instructors are responsible for course development, classroom management, classroom safety and high quality instruction. Must be able to pass background check, with NO prior convictions of any felonies and no history of child abuse and/or neglect. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ph.D./Terminal degree in English or a related field. 2. Five years of teaching experience in field of study. 3. Maintains educational competencies in area of instruction. 4. Professional excellence, community service and/or publication. 5. Valid and clean state driver's license. 6. Must be able to pass background check, with NO prior convictions of any felonies and no history of child abuse and/or neglect. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with the individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds. 14. Ability to communicate effectively in the Navajo and English language. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently sits, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat. 2. Use hands for dexterity of motion, repetitive movement of both hands. 3. Have excellent auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communications skills. 4. The employee must occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: 1. Work is typically performed within an office, classroom or laboratory. 2. Situations occur where surgical masks, safety goggles, gloves and protective face shields may occur. 3. Tight time constraints and multiple demands are common. 4. Evening and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
