We are currently looking for Racing Instructors to assist our customers through their driving experience. Instructors provide one-on-one coaching, both in a classroom setting as well as instructing inside the racing vehicle. Qualifications
Education:
EdD or PhD from a US accredited college or university

Description of hours and wages:
The pay range for this position is $55,615 to $74,529 per year. Pay typically begins at the minimum of the pay range, and employees are eligible for annual merit and COLA increases per District policy.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), FLSA exempt position.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

2. Plans lessons and curriculum based on the learning needs of culturally diverse beginning, intermediate, and advanced level students. Engages students to reach retention goals and prepares students to demonstrate learning advancement gains.
3. Performs weekly class assessments to measure students' mastery level of benchmark skills and determine progress in the class.
4. Plans and prepares practical class lesson plans based on College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education (CCRS) and monitors students' performance.
5. Develops, implements, maintains, and delivers instruction using virtual, in-person, or hybrid delivery models while working onsite at Library District locations and/or Library District partner locations.
6. Completes and maintains appropriate student attendance records.
7. Performs proctor tests for enrolled adult students, including High School Equivalency examinations. 8. Provides virtual, in-person, and hybrid delivery of instruction in a co-teaching environment.
9. Shares best practices recognized in the adult learning classroom environment.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Position Summary
The Instructor is responsible for teaching ESL and ABE classes to adult English language learners in both in-person and virtual classroom. Essential Responsibilities
Plan, design and teach ESL and technology curriculum that is engaging to adult English language learners.
Create and conduct instruction that includes workforce preparation as outlined in WIOA and adult basic education requirements under NDE.
Collect and input data including performance outcomes and attendance records.
Maintain accurate and complete student records.
Assist and conduct, scheduled and walk-in student registration including intake, orientation and assessment.
Monitor students' attendance to ensure post-testings are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
Prioritize work and meet necessary deadlines.
Protect all confidential information, company property and electronic data. Comply with safety rules.

Starting Salary Information
Initial salary placement is based on educational level and total years of full-time equivalent teaching experience. The entire salary range is up to $89,166 annually with a Doctorate and 10 years' experience. A maximum of 10 years of experience will be considered for the initial salary placement purposes.

ROLE of the POSITION
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track (NTT), Assistant Professor-in-Residence of Mathematics in the Honors College. At UNLV, the "in-Residence" label refers to teaching positions with a service component but no research requirement. The Honors College seeks candidates whose teaching and service have prepared them to enhance our commitment to student development in higher education. We seek a Mathematics instructor primarily for first year math courses and occasional upper division Honors seminar classes for the Honors College. The faculty member's main duties are to teach Calculus I and Calculus II to Honors students using technology relevant to classroom pedagogy. Typically, Honors College faculty have a teaching load averaging 12 credits of teaching a semester. The majority of Honors College courses are in person, although there are online and hybrid courses offered.
The successful candidate is also expected to mentor Honors College students, supervise Honors research thesis projects, collaborate with Honors College faculty and staff, and participate in appropriate levels of service to the college, university, and community.
PROFILE of the HONORS COLLEGE
The Honors College at UNLV is a small, selective college within the university that offers an exceptional undergraduate core experience for highly motivated students. The Honors College provides students with a liberal arts experience in addition to their academic majors. The combination of a central Honors intellectual core and specialized learning in a major discipline helps develop graduates who are fully prepared to succeed in graduate and professional schools and in rewarding careers.
The Honors College at UNLV currently has 10 faculty-in-residence specializing in a variety of disciplines and approximately 1,200 students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Ph.D. in Mathematics or related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university. The degree must be awarded prior to the start of employment.
Applicants must also demonstrate a proven record of transformative teaching that includes experience teaching Calculus I and Calculus II at the college level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and an encumbered Nevada Registered Nurse License or ability to obtain prior to employment. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
