What will I do in this position?
Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Teach undergraduate and graduate business courses in the School of Business. Key areas of teaching may include but are not limited to Supply Chain, Operations Management, Entrepreneurship, Ethics, Global Business, Human Resource Management, or Small Business Management.
* Teach varied courses within the School of Business commensurate with departmental needs and individual expertise.
* Maintain training and education to be well-versed in current business developments and post-secondary teaching methods.
* Advise assigned students in the School of Business.
* Collaborate in curriculum and course development, including course and program development and program assessment, and contribute to updating and consulting on business curriculum across venues for undergraduate business programs.
* Assist in developing strategies for student recruitment and retention for business programs as well as alumni engagement as needed or assigned.
* Provide supervision of internships for students in the School of Business and assist with initiatives to enhance student employment opportunities.
* Utilize technology as appropriate to enhance learning and efficiently communicate with students and across the organization.
* Participate in and serve on committees as opportunities arise.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Mitchell Hamline School of Law is currently hiring adjunct faculty for the Blended Learning program to assist with the doctrine courses for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Blended program is part online, part in-person. This program consists of an intensive in-person experiential capstone and preparation week and online weekly modules that span 14 weeks of the semester. We are seeking expert practitioners who will assist the full-time faculty member in providing timely and valuable feedback to students' weekly discussions, assignments, or assessments. Each adjunct will be assigned 24 students and will need to be available by e-mail, chat, or telephone to respond to student questions. The time commitment ranges from 8-12 hours per week. Applicants are required to participate in a mandatory training that will cover the pedagogy of the program and online platform.
