Desired/preferred qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have expertise in courses such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Procurement, and Supply Chain Analytics, as well as proficiency in applied learning and current technologies relevant to these fields.
Additionally, applicants who can demonstrate intercultural competence with diverse groups in teaching, research, and service are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be well-qualified to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics areas, contribute to the development and enhancement of the Global Supply Chain Management Option of the Business Administration and the Master of Science in Supply Chain Analytics (MSSCA) curriculums, and develop new courses as needed, such as Foundations of Supply Chain Analytics, Artificial Intelligence in Operations Management, Big Data in Supply Chain, and Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management. The candidate should also be able to teach analytical programming skills and technologies relevant to operations and supply chain, including spreadsheet automation, R, Python, and other related technologies. In research, the candidate is expected to sustain quality scholarship by publishing in peer-reviewed journals. In service, the candidate will actively engage in identifying and pursuing opportunities to support the department, college, university, and professional community.

JOB SUMMARY
Both our lower-division and upper-division undergraduate courses are 3-unit courses. Each is taught twice a week on campus (either at our San Bernardino campus or our Palm Desert Campus) for one and a half hours per class session, during the Fall and Spring semesters (15 weeks each). Instructors prepare their syllabi, assignments, classroom activities, lecture materials, and grading rubrics, and teach the courses following department guidelines. Instructors or these courses also hold limited office hours in which they can meet with students who need help, have questions, and require advice about their coursework.
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

THE DEPARTMENT
Coastline College's ESL Department includes both English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Language Learning (ELL) programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead and assure the full and successful implementation of the PK3 Teaching Credential Program.
Represent the ECE programs and policies with all decisions pertaining to student academic progress such as course substitutions, waivers, and petitions.
Recruit and interview potential faculty and schedule class assignments.
Facilitate revisions of current ECE curriculum, as needed, and serve as program liaison for all communication and collaboration with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
Coordinate faculty assignments, monitor faculty effectiveness, and review faculty evaluations to assure program quality and continuous improvement.
Oversee the academic progress of students in concert with the ECE/PK3 Program Coordinator, who will perform administrative tasks on behalf of ECE/PK3 students. This may include such things as monitoring student academic progress and leading Candidate Support Committee interventions, as needed.
Attend all School of Education and Vanguard University faculty meetings.

Introduction to the form and content of communication.
