Texas A&M University-Central Texas seeks adynamic and forward-thinking professional to join our team as they work to expand the educational and training opportunities necessary to meet the growing needs of industry. In Central Texas, advanced manufacturing has a projected growth rate of >33k additional jobs (47% increase) over the next five years. For this position, specific duties would include teaching select courses, and the development of a new Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing. The position offers a unique opportunity to apply real world experience as a lecturer, full time for 2 years (renewable), starting in Fall 2026. This position is currently grant funded. Texas A&M University - Central Texas is committed to retaining this position after the grant has ended, if financially feasible.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Principal architect in the development, design, and implementation of a new Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing-as an applied, hands-on program that capitalizes on work-based learning, industry-recognized certifications, and apprenticeships.
Teach courses in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology program with a focus on applied knowledge and hands-on experience to meet the growing industrial base in Texas.
Participates in the identification and purchasing of instructional equipment, supplies and the construction of laboratory and makers' spaces associated with the BAAS degree.
Participates in professional growth activities and maintains awareness of new trends and developments within areas of instructional responsibility
Develops the program by participating in activities associated with industry partnerships and other networked colleges and universities.
Attend advisory board meetings, faculty development, college meetings.
Provides academic support and advising to students including establishing and maintaining a schedule of office hours
Helping to develop and expand student enrollment and alumni participation.
Participates in college governance by serving on joint, ad hoc, faculty, campus, department and discipline committees.

Experience & Education:
Masters Degree required along with five years' experience in one or more of the of the following areas:
Industrial fabrication (3D printing).
Advanced assembly (e.g., robotics) installation, operation, maintenance.
CAD and C&C machining.
Advanced tool (e.g., semiconductor) installation, operation, maintenance.
Performance data analytics (e.g., Lean-6-Sigma)

Fellowship is offered through the Pathology department. We are currently affiliated with Texas A&M College of
Medicine and will transition to Baylor College of Medicine with the establishment of a new Temple BCM campus

Primary responsibilities are patient care and teaching. Patient care will occur in Pediatric Dermatology outpatient
clinics within the Dermatology free-standing clinic and shared call coverage for inpatient consultations at McLane
Children's Hospital. The hospital features 112 patient beds and a 24-hour, level II pediatric emergency department. A
level IV, forty-eight bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSW Memorial Hospital campus. Opportunities
to perform basic dermatologic surgery and laser surgery are available.
The position will involve a significant educational component via bedside, formal and informal teaching of learners
including Dermatology residents, rotating Pediatric residents, and medical students. Clinical or educational
scholarship is encouraged.

pre-kindergarten children, effective behavior management and student motivational strategies, and interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy;
Local educational and community resources which can be used in the classroom;
Developmentally-appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers;
Parent education techniques;
Health and safety of children
Experience:
Prefer six months of experience in early childhood classroom with ability to adapt curriculum to
meet the needs of all children including at risk, special needs, gifted and culturally diverse
populations.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, clean, nurturing, and inviting learning environment for children
Support the social, intellectual and emotional development of children
Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool children
Build the basic curriculum on a caregiving routines as a shared experience between teacher and child
Supervise children both indoors and outdoors at all times;
Plan and implement learning experiences and utilize integrated curriculum plans, which reflect mandated elements and components, parental and cultural influences, and promote and advance the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of infants and toddlers;
Complete all developmentally appropriate assessments and screenings on all children as required;
Develop skill based, individualized classroom activities for each child based on parental input, direct observations, and developmental assessments/screenings including identified activities designed for children with special needs based on their Individual Education Plan;
Promote parent involvement by reinforcing the role parents as primary caregiver and educator of their child(ren);
Plan and coordinate the work of the teacher assistant and work cohesively with other staff;
Demonstrate cultural competency and respect for the child's background by incorporating the cultural, linguistic and familial values and beliefs into the childcare program and lesson plans;
Assist families with children's transitions from toddler to preschool and/or from preschool to kindergarten;
Maintain a cooperative attitude of working together with the teacher assistant(s), volunteers, parents, and program specialists in planning and implementing activities;
Implement the developmental assessment for each child to determine the child's strengths and areas in which each child may need help;
Plan with the teacher assistant in preparing materials and supplies in advance for activities;
Implement behavior plans designed by resource/mentor teachers and/or mental health specialists;
Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self-esteem and self-discipline;
Ensure full implementation of IEPs and inclusion of children with disabilities and special needs;
Conduct direct observations on children and record data;
Collect data and file in children's portfolios and files;
Ensure routines such as diapering, toileting/training, hand washing, tooth brushing, eating, napping, and transitioning between activities are carried out in a manner that is prompt, hygienic, and consistent with regulations and good child development practices;
Work effectively with other staff at the center to promote teamwork, maintaining professionalism and continuously sustaining a positive environment;
Perform other related duties.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Good manual dexterity of hands and fingers to demonstrate activities or run instructional equipment;
Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods;
Must be able to reach overhead as well above the shoulders and horizontally ;
Requires repetitive bending at the waist, as well as kneeling, stooping, crouching to assist children;
Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations, hear in a noisy environment and locate the sources of a sound for health and safety including crying by children;
Must have excellent speaking and hearing ability;
Must be able to input data using a computer terminal keyboard;
Seeing to read a variety of materials and monitor children's activities is essential;
Walk for extended periods of time;
Handle or feel with fingers, reach with hands and climb or balance, or crawl;
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; and
Move, push, pull if needed while moving and holding children and ability to physically interact with young children through running, chasing, bending, stooping, climbing, and standing with occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
