ACTIVSTARS allows our Martial Art Instructors to teach their primary style, utilizing the ACTIVSTARS curriculum guidelines. Our class locations are held year-round, and we are looking for committed and dedicated instructors for long-term positions. Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-in, basic record-keeping, and promoting tournaments, camps, or clinics. Have a certified black belt in a “traditional” based martial art. Have a style in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, or equivalent forms-based martial arts. Have a solid technical foundation. Have solid knowledge of self-defense skills. Are 18 years of age or older. Have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the location(s). Time Frame: Weekday Evenings are typically between 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Typically, one to two days during the week. Pay: $15 - $30+/hr.
