Material and Equipment Management: Help assess and determine the material, tools, and equipment needed for the successful completion of each job, ensuring timely and accurate procurement. Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality and safety controls, maintaining a safe work environment and delivering projects with zero time lost due to accidents or safety incidents. Care and Maintenance of Company Property: Take responsibility for the proper use and care of all company-issued vehicles, equipment, and tools, protecting them from damage, deterioration, or theft. Ensure that all company property is kept clean and well-maintained. Training and Development: Assist in the development and training of field personnel on proper installation procedures, promoting a high level of professionalism and safety awareness among the team. Technical Consultation: Provide technical support and advice to apprentices, technicians, designers, and shop employees to resolve issues and maintain high installation standards. Additional Duties: Respond to other responsibilities assigned by the Labor Supervisor and/or Project Foreperson, contributing to team success and project efficiency. Other Duties as Assigned: Undertake additional tasks as requested by management, ensuring the smooth operation of projects and the company. Qualifications: REQUIRED: 3 or more years of experience installing sprinkler systems Preferred: 5 or more years of experience installing sprinkler systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of tools and equipment related to sprinkler fitting and fire protection systems. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic abilities. Demonstrated ability to work safely in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with team members, apprentices, and management. Capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas. Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, project managers, and inspectors, to complete projects on time and within budget. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and project documentation. Provide training and guidance to other team members as needed. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent completion of a formal apprenticeship program or trade school in sprinkler fitting preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Ohio licenses for sprinkler systems, fire mains, and fire alarms required. Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards, as well as local building and fire codes. Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair sprinkler system components. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities. Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and successfully passing pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background checks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb ladders, use lifts, and work at various heights. Able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching throughout the workday. Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Must be able to work in confined spaces or outdoor environments as needed. This position is primarily a field survey position, however, candidates will be expected to perform office tasks and support other service lines as appropriate. Qualifications: In this role, you need the ability to understand, execute and communicate project requirements or procedures to co-workers professionally and effectively. Additional qualifications include but are not limited to the following: Technical knowledge of land survey practices and techniques for a wide diversity or survey types, including a strong technical background in algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Duties: You will act as instrument operator, rod person, or other as needed to perform various types of projects such as boundary, topographic, right of way, control, pipeline, construction, as-built, and ALTA/ACSM surveys. Survey Instrument Technicians may have direct interaction with Clients or their representatives. Additional duties may include but are not limited to the following: One person survey crew utilizing GPS or Robotic equipment. Serve as environmental crew member supporting crew lead with GPS mapping, documentation or various tasks as required. Perform research of public records. Reduction of field notes, brush cutting, digging, staking, etc. Complete company or client required documentation such as field logs, safety procedures, notes, etc. Certify the documentation of collected field data, notes and sketches meets accuracy and survey standards. Take responsibility for all issued survey equipment and provide regular maintenance and calibration. Enforce safety practices. Deed plotting, data processing, drafting, etc. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, (SIT, technical school or college a plus). Valid driver's license.
