Parsec, LLC. is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for our operation based in Columbus, OH. This position includes managing, planning, organizing all intermodal equipment maintenance and repair. We are seeking an aggressive, forward-thinking and highly motivated candidate to work in a fast paced environment.
Schedule:
Day shift: 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Ensure mechanics perform their work within the safety guidelines set forth by Parsec.
Process maintenance related invoices and audit invoices as required.
Ensure that all mechanics working on Parsec's behalf have the required experience, qualifications, and licenses to perform their duties in their respective fields.
Investigate all damage claims to chassis, equipment, and containers with a view to improving work procedures and minimizing damage to equipment.
Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on all types of hostlers, diesel equipment, forklifts, and trailing equipment, in compliance with the manufacturers and company schedules
Follow a checklist of inspections and procedures.
Ensure maintenance and repairs performed are in accordance with railroad, IEP, manufacturer & FMCSA guidelines.
Position Requirements:
Must have your own tools (Heavy Duty tools are supplied)
Post-Secondary Certificate or Degree related to Mechanical, Maintenance, or Engineering
Strong Mechanical background
Journey Man Certification in Maintenance of Road or Off-road equipment is desirable
Management or Supervisor experience in Maintenance of equipment required minimum of 5 years
Understanding of Intermodal Operations or trucking logistics is desirable
Familiar with Commercial Vehicle inspection regulations.
Familiar with Standard maintenance procedures of Heavy Equipment
Ability to communicate clearly in English and understanding Spanish is desirable
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with contractor supervisors, personnel and all CPR employees.
Ability to maintain healthy communication relationships with the various suppliers.
Valid driver's license

This position will lead a maintenance team of technicians, working closely with team members to solve machine issues, while keeping operations management appraised of in progress projects that may impact equipment capability and production timelines in a TPM managed environment.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Lead a team of Mechanics to maximize productivity.
+ Train and coach maintenance personnel to develop skill set.
+ Identify and share best practices throughout the maintenance department.
+ Identify and develop improvement opportunities to increase equipment capability and/or uptime.
+ Implement and evolve Preventative Maintenance program.

+ Ensure accuracy of all aspects of the master sanitation schedule are maintained and updated as new methods become available.

+ Work with planners to schedule work/jobs.
+ Monitor production schedules and requirements in terms of micro quality, quantity, & safety.
+ Write, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
+ Supervise accurate and timely reporting of work in process and completes all relevant paperwork and management reporting.
+ Work within approved operating expense budget, ensure sufficient operating supplies and capital equipment are available for department personnel to produce product to schedule. Recommend corrections to budget as production needs require.
+ Manage processes to assure sanitation and micro biological specifications, quality and safety standards are maintained.
+ Establish programs to control and improve processes. Assure that control measures are reported as required.
+ Investigate and diagnoses microbiological and sanitation issues in a timely manner. Ensure that a corrective action is obtained and maintained.
+ Provide training and cross training to assure that all aspects are met within budget, product specifications, quality requirements and safety standards.
+ Ensure compliance with Food Safety.
+ Complete other duties according to changing business needs
+ Establish clear ownership for project tasks within the team and a clear schedule for when each task will be performed. Ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
+ Oversee and support the installation of facility/project equipment.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Dollar Shave Club is seeking a Warehouse MaintenanceSupervisor to oversee and optimize the performance of all on-site equipment and machinery. Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
Forklift factory certification strongly desired
