Twist Aero is seeking a hands-on, self motivated Field Commissioning Technician to perform on-site startup, testing, and basic training for our HVAC systems at airports across the U.S. This role is critical in ensuring our equipment is installed properly, performs to spec, and is fully understood by the end user. You'll work directly with our proprietary Twist Aero HVAC units-verifying function, troubleshooting, and providing operational and maintenance training. This is a travel-heavy role: work is performed on-site at domestic airports, Monday through Friday, with some extended one-week trips. All travel expenses (flights, hotels, meals) are covered by Twist Aero. Responsibilities * Perform start-up and commissioning of Twist Aero HVAC equipment. * Troubleshoot and verify system performance in the field. * Provide operational and basic maintenance training to end users. * Accurately document field findings and communicate with engineering as needed. * Maintain professional, safety-first conduct in active airport environments. Requirements * Familiarity with HVAC systems. * Experience with PLC logic and controls. * Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high-voltage. * Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills. * Willingness and flexibility to travel on short notice. * Comfortable navigating airports and working independently. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. * Must pass a background check. * Physically able to stand/walk for extended periods.
