1. Review customer specifications to standard offerings
2. Develop Technical Clarifications/Exceptions to Specifications
3. Investigating, researching, and compiling requested technical data
4. Developing control logic and programs to support system operation
5. Obtain technical quotes for non-standard equipment/components
6. Assist in the selection of instrumentation and panel components as required per specifications
7. Prepare electrical diagrams, panel drawings as well as incorporating changes to drawings

QUALIFICATIONS:
Four (4) Year Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical Field, Engineering Degree preferred. At a minimum, candidates must be qualified as follows: Minimum 4-year technical degree (BSME or BSChE preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
Five (5)+ years' experience related to power and control applications and components with emphasis on PLC / HMI programming of RSLogix, ControLogix, SIMATIC and FactoryTalk platforms. Additional programming experience considered a plus.
Experience with integrating automated fluid process systems using actuated valves, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, level controls and other various automated controls using P&ID drawings. Must have the ability to troubleshoot automated fluid process systems to include the tuning of P&ID control loops. This includes the actual designing of the hardware side of automated control systems, including process flow diagrams, loop drawings, functional specifications and testing protocols. . Working understanding of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) and how it relates to electrical design, programming and life cycle documentation a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Good interpersonal skills are required to interface with sales personnel and customers. Candidate must be proficient in manipulating large amounts of cost data in MS Excel and other cost databases.
