- You will be working in commercial buildings installing insulation.
- You will be installing batted insulation and spray foam insulation - all types of installation - may vary depending on the project.
- You will typically work within a 60 mile radius but will occasionally travel further for larger projects. If you do have to travel out of town, the hotel is paid for and they get an additional $25/day per diem for food.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Strongly preferred that you have a valid drivers license - you must pass an MVR and have a clean driving record to drive for Cullen - not required for the job but you will get paid more if you can drive.
- You must show ambition and understand that you are there to do a job and the job must be done.
- Ideally you will have previous experience operating a spray gun: automotive painter, house painters, any time of spray experience transfers over well

What You Can ExpectAs a construction laborer , you will focus on installing insulation (fiberglass or rock wool batts) to exterior walls and ceilings. Your day-to-day "office" won't always look the same! However, you can count on the process to provide some consistency:
- Loading and logging materials onto a truck
- Cut the insulation materials to size and install in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
- Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
- May be required to drive a company vehicle. If so, follow all driving rules and DOT requirements at all times and maintain your tools/truck
- Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Experience in the construction industry
- Use common hand tools
- Work in tight places including attics and crawlspaces
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees
- Stand for extended periods of time

Schedule: Mon-Fri: 7:00AM-5:00PM
Wage Range: $13 to $20 hourly DOE
How you will spend your days as an Insulation Installer:
- Travel to jobsites.
- Install and replace insulation in attics, floors and behind walls in homes or other buildings.
- Must be able to unroll, cut, fit and staple batts of fiberglass insulation between wall studs and ceiling joists.
- Spray foam insulation with a compressor hose.
- Remove old insulation and dispose of it properly.
- Measure and cut insulation to fit into walls and around pipes.
- Fasten insulation in place with staples, tape or screws.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Always represents Meek’s Production Facility with a professional appearance and demeanor.
