This Position:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Medical Affairs, US Region, the Manager of Medical Affairs will leverage clinical and disease state expertise to inform and create strategic initiatives and enhance medical engagement to help drive Insulet's current commercial business within the US. This role collaborates across internal teams to deliver strategic, compliant, and impactful medical programs that support product understanding, stakeholder engagement, and business objectives.
The ideal candidate has a history of focused experience or direct practice with diabetes and diabetes technologies, (e.g., automated insulin delivery systems and insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitor systems, data management systems) and is adept at translating clinical insights into educational content for diverse audiences using innovative communication formats.
Responsibilities:
Represent Medical Affairs in regional initiatives, contributing to strategic planning and execution to meet or exceed program goals.
Implement deliverables pertaining to the Medical Affairs strategy for assigned projects at the US-regional level through cross-functional collaboration and influence.
Maintain a thorough and detailed working knowledge of Omnipod products, current scientific research, and publications.
Create and implement peer-to-peer medical education initiatives through various formats including live, virtual, and hybrid engagements such as congress activities and symposia.
Design and create compelling medical content to ensure educational channels effectively support healthcare professionals, end users, and align with Insulet's strategic positioning in the diabetes device industry.
Develop training and educational materials and programs that meet the needs of various audiences (internal, external, professional and end user) to communicate the benefits and effective use of Omnipod products and/or support new product launches, indications, and claims.
Support the promotion of evidence dissemination for stakeholders through a multi-channel approach.
Collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure alignment of medical education strategies, messaging, and content across promotional and non-promotional channels.
Engage and involve key opinion leaders, professional organizations, and congressional groups to maintain crucial external relationships and scientific exchange.
Manage the distribution and adoption of labeling and training materials for healthcare professionals and end users to support the safe and effective use of the device as intended.
Create and deliver compelling medical education and scientific content to reinforce key concepts of the diabetes disease state and therapies, and improve confidence, retention, and engagement.
Manage medical advisory boards to facilitate scientific exchange with key opinion leaders and other relevant stakeholders, gathering insights to inform strategic initiatives and community needs.
Support the development of educational content for speaker bureau programs and contribute to the training and onboarding of healthcare professional speakers to ensure consistent and compliant scientific messaging.
Lead discussions and engagement with KOLs related to investigator-initiated research studies from initial idea discussion through study approval and execution.
Manage medical education grants based on Insulet's key areas of focus.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum bachelor's degree in health-related science and/or healthcare credentials (RN, RD, PharmD, etc.); advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in industry, clinical, and/or research settings specifically related to diabetes and diabetes technology (i.e., automated insulin delivery systems, continuous glucose monitors) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience in developing medical education content for healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide scientific and clinical presentations on Natera's oncology products, specifically relevant to lung and/or head and neck cancers.
Address the specific needs of customers by responding to requests for information about our marketed and developing products across solid tumors.
Serve as a medical and scientific resource for the Natera Sales and Marketing teams, including participation in scientific updates and training with emphasis on lung and/or head and neck cancer data as appropriate.

Assist in agenda planning and meeting facilitation of Clinical Advisory Boards and Symposia, involving thoracic and/or head and neck oncology experts.
This role works with PHI on a regular basis in both paper and electronic form and utilizes various technologies to securely access PHI in order to perform responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Health care professionals with relevant clinical sciences knowledge in oncology will be considered: Pharm.D, Ph.D., M.D., Doctoral-level Nurse Practitioners (DNP).
Prior MSL experience highly preferred; prior involvement with lung and/or head and neck oncology or clinical laboratory tests is also preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (Ph.D. preferred)
7+ years of experience in clinical trial biostatistics
Strong knowledge of survival analysis, censoring, and other advanced statistical techniques relevant to oncology
Expertise with study design innovation and power/simulation approaches
Proven track record in mentoring and developing junior staff

The Oncology Pathologist's Assistant provides assistance to the Signatera team as a subject matter expert for review of clinical pathology reports. The PA will assist the medical and customer service teams with acquisition of appropriate specimens for minimal residual disease (MRD) testing in oncology.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the medical and customer service teams with the interpretation of oncology pathology reports to identify optimal samples to request when initial FFPE blocks or slides are inadequate for testing.
Read and ensure accurate curation of clinical history, diagnosis, progress notes, and specimen information is entered into the Signatera sample database.
Assist with devising strategies to stratify data for retrieval from the Signatera sample database and other databases as necessary.
Maintain proficiency with and help organize diagnostic data according to pertinent WHO guidelines.
Serve as subject matter expert to the Laboratory Director, Genetic Counseling, Customer Experience, Sales, and Clinical Trial teams for pathology reports.
Assist in the identification and alert the Laboratory Director when samples may have been collected at suboptimal timepoints and/or fixative conditions.
Assist Genetic Counseling and Customer Experience teams in identification and procurement of optimal additional samples, as necessary.
Provide professional support for the Clinical Trial team through accurate and organized data transfer.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree, or higher, with certification as a PA or CT by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent board, is required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in anatomic pathology including extensive knowledge of solid tumor pathology.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to accurately understand and convey information found in anatomic pathology reports to team members for a wide variety of solid tumors, including but not limited to lung, colon, and breast cancer.
Ability to identify potential diagnostic sample(s) that will ensure successful testing.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and referring pathology laboratories.
Ability to build relationships with referring pathology laboratories.

The Clinical Field Specialist will increase revenue and drive market development through direct sales to individual MFMs and OB/GYNs. Support efforts include cultivating and maintaining key relationships, and creating and supporting a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly. Support efforts will focus on currently marketed products and new product launches. In addition the CFS will provide clinical insight and educational support/training on the technical applications of company products. This role will provide technical training in a clinical and/or surgical environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job
Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Four-year university degree required in Bachelor of Science, Nursing or related healthcare field preferred.
Minimum three years' physician sales experience in diagnostic laboratory business (preferably in a genetics laboratory).
Background in medical or biological sciences (clinical diagnostics preferred).
Market knowledge and experience selling to OB/GYN or MFM strongly preferred.
Proven track record of success in establishing new market and new products and increasing revenue quickly.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail; SalesForce.com.

The total on-target earnings (OTE) package includes a competitive base salary along with uncapped quarterly commissions. Beyond OTE, the compensation also features a car allowance and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.

Experience designing, developing, and testing containerized micro-services.
Experience utilizing SQL databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Experience with an enterprise messaging bus (e.g., Event Hubs, Kafka, Kinesis) is preferred.
Proficient with the use of Docker containers for both development support as well as deployment.
Familiarity with selecting and deploying cloud technologies in Azure and/or AWS.
Skilled at defining and translating high-level requirements into software design and implementation.
Able to work independently and deliver high quality work product without close supervision.
Able to follow and implement work assignments.
Adept at seeing change as an opportunity to improve business performance and campaigning for it when necessary.
Able to effectively convey information related to work product and participate in group discussions.
Able to persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.
EXTRA AWESOME:
Knowledge of REST API contract design is a plus.
Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $108,500 to $130,000 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate's location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus and a robust benefits package.
