What You'll Do as an Insurance Sales Agent
Responsible for the sale and service of ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch.
Uses sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG's overall insurance book of business.
Effectively overcomes objections to close the sale and/or retain the insured.
Works to meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan and goals assigned by leadership.
Conducts insurance review for clients to identify a range of suitable products. Uses provided tools and applicable underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend appropriate products and related coverage, quote, bind and issue policies.
Participates in local branch events, to solicit new business, create and expand business networks.
Build rapport critical to establishing customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to the AAA brand.
Responds to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance, membership, and financial products.
Refer Members to other applicable lines of business (i.e., Travel & Financial Services) as deemed appropriate.

Required Qualifications:
Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
Active State Life Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary within a time frame established by the Business Unit.

Job Overview:
The Business Development InsuranceAgent plays a vital role in expanding our policyholder community by building business relationships, generating referrals, cultivating sales opportunities, and maintaining ongoing sales efforts. This role is essential for promoting our products and services and strengthening partnerships with credit unions and clients.

$55,000 starting base salary, increasing to $60,000 after 4 months and $65,000 after 8 months of active employment.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a valid insurance sales license and fulfill continuing education requirements as needed.
Engage with credit union members through various channels to offer insurance products and services available through credit union membership.
Drive referrals through existing and new business relationships.
Acquire new SEG/Business Opportunities (minimum 1 per month).
Foster relationships with credit union contacts to identify and generate new sales opportunities.
Successfully complete training and required sales courses.
Assess client and member needs to provide tailored insurance solutions that protect families and add value to credit union members.
Close sales efficiently, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the appropriate credit union.
Develop and sustain professional relationships with credit union staff, worksite personnel, and other employer group contacts.
Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings as required by the regional manager or sales leader.
Follow attendance and reporting procedures as directed by the regional manager.
Submit non-branch activity logs same day as of off-site visits.
Consistently achieve daily PRO level sales and report total premiums, deductions, new members, and annual savings to credit unions, when applicable.
Produce accurate, high-quality applications and documentation, submitting them per the manager's schedule.
Collaborate with credit union branch managers to maximize sales potential.

Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales.
Insurance sales experience and/or licensing preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to travel to worksite locations as required.

Coachable with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
