The Insurance Analyst will provide insurance review to ensure that insurance coverage is obtained to protect Citibank's interest in the real estate collateral. Direct contact with insurance agents, vendors and internal customers are key to ensure adequate insurance coverage is in place and active. Milliman insurance analyst job description

The insurance analyst role provides analytical support for our actuarial analysts and consultants working on client projects. We are looking for analytically-minded people who love numbers, have a keen eye for detail, and have strong skills in spreadsheet software. The ideal candidate will either have completed quantitative coursework in school and/or have experience working in data-driven positions. Prior insurance experience is beneficial but not required: We will teach you the key concepts of analyzing and forecasting insurance reserves.

Insurance analysts are not expected to pursue a credential with the Casualty Actuarial Society through passing actuarial examinations, and no exams are required for this position. This position does not include enrollment in our exam program, but employees who are successful in this role may apply for transition to an actuarial student role after sufficient experience with Milliman, if desired.

The insurance analyst works closely with project team members to provide data review, quantitative analysis, and project document editing in order to guarantee quality assurance. Their work is crucial to the final work product submitted to clients. As such, the position requires professionalism and strong communication skills - both in-person and written - in order to successfully liaise with colleagues and clients. The technician will produce work frequently in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and strong skills in these areas are essential qualifications for a successful candidate.

This position is associated with the Milliman Boston, Burlington, VT, and Atlanta offices. That said, our team offers significant flexibility for remote work, particularly for those generally based on the East Coast. Successful candidates may discuss the balance of in-person versus remote work with our team before starting the role.
