Your primary objective will be to guide patients face-to-face through the application process, ensuring thorough completion and follow-up. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside in an effort to determine if patient is a viable candidate for federal, state, and/or county medical or disability assistance. * Complete the appropriate applications and following through until approved. * Detailed, accurate and timely documentation in both MPower and the hospital systems on all cases worked. * Provide exceptional customer service at all times. * Participate in ongoing trainings in order to apply the content learned in dealings with patients and cases. * Maintain assigned work queue of patient accounts. * Collaborate in person and through verbal/written correspondence with hospital staff, case managers, social workers, financial counselors. * Answer incoming telephone calls, make out-bound calls, and track (via MPower) all paperwork necessary to submit enrollment and renewal for prospective Medicaid patients. * Maintain structured and timely contact with the applicant and responsible government agency, by phone whenever possible or as structured via the daily work queue. * Assist the applicant with gathering any additional reports or records, meeting appointment dates and times and arrange transportation if warranted. * Request home visits as needed to acquire documentation. * As per established protocols, inform the client in a timely manner of all approvals and denials of coverage. * Attend ongoing required training to remain informed about current rules and regulations related to governmental programs, and apply updated knowledge when working with patients and cases. * Regular and timely attendance. * All other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Summary As the Kitchen Coordinator, you will provide an exceptional dining experience by assisting with running an organized kitchen, cooking from scratch, and training/mentoring team members. Job Type * Full-time Responsibilities * Follows all menu items and standardized recipes. * Executes daily, weekly, monthly tasks sheets. * Maintains quality and timeliness of food preparation throughout the shift. * Cleans and maintains all kitchen equipment and report any faulty or broken equipment. * Trains new team members * Manages Inventory * Places orders in the absence of the Culinary Services Director * Creates schedule in the absence of the Culinary Services Director * Delivers excellent hospitality and customer services to residents, families, and visitors and family members in a kind, respectful and effective way. Qualifications * Certification for position as required by the State if required. i.e.: food sanitation. * High School diploma / GED, or as required by state regulations. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
