Job Overview
As a Sales Center Agent here at Polly, you will analyze, advise, and sell personal lines insurance policies to customers, by:
Handling an average of 150 inbound leads per month with motivated real-time car buyers
Navigate through multiple carrier systems while preparing & cross-selling personalized quotes
Provide expert advice and recommendations to our customers and clients
Close sales at a strong conversion rate from your high inbound lead flow (no cold calling)
Foster an unmatched customer experience at every touchpoint
New Agent Schedule
The Polly Sales Center is operational 9:00am - 8:00pm (EST); Monday - Friday and 10-7 on Saturdays.
New Agent Schedule is 11am-8pm ET, 4 days/week and every Saturday 10am-7pm ET.
Schedules will be assigned based on business needs and commence upon completion of full-time training.
Training:
During training, you're expected to work full-time and be logged in during training hours.
You will work 8 hours a day (40 hours a week) and your training will consist of a mix of live sessions and independent time.
Group training hours alternate weekly for 4 weeks and consist of 2 weeks of a Monday - Friday 10am-7pm schedule and 2 weeks of a Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pm schedule.
Once training is complete, you will transition to your full time New Agent Schedule listed above.
Compensation
Polly offers a competitive market base salary of 32k-38k annually plus bonus. Salary is based on location and experience. Our average performing agents have the opportunity to make 50k-60k in total compensation annually.
What You'll Need to Succeed
A valid Property and Casualty insurance license
1+ year(s) of experience selling auto & home insurance in a Call Center
Experience working in a high-volume call center
Experience selling multiple carriers and multiple state coverages
Solid computer, IT, and systems experience
Persuasive; persistent and confident in closing a sale in fast paced setting
Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
Self-initiative to continuously follow up with warm leads to drive deals to completion
Experience with AMS360, PL Rater, and/or other rating tools, preferred
Bilingual required (Spanish)

What Will You Do?
Oversee a team of Courtesy Patrol Agents.
Lead Daily team huddles and assignments, ensuring all company policies are adhered.
Oversees the Courtesy Patrol team's schedules, ensuring consistent coverage to support smooth daily operations.
Serves as the primary liaison between the Courtesy Patrol team and the property management team.
Reports all happenings to management team.
Keep consistent reporting and training teams on all company reporting needs.
Work with management team to ensure department works within expectations of company.
Responsible for securing assigned posts at entry points and welcoming and greeting guests.
Ensures guests and residents are authorized to be inside a venue, checking identification, using registries and guest lists, and issuing wristbands or other security measures.
Reminds guests, residents, and employees of safety and security policies with an attitude of dignity and respect, maintaining a positive and fun environment.
Assists Guest Services Agents with situations throughout the property.
Able to cover Guest Services Agents lunches when needed, perform basic front desk duties.
Patrols the entire property on foot and by golf cart, actively monitoring and promptly reporting or resolving issues.
Manages conflict between guests, residents or employees and utilize knowledge and training to resolve issues safely and effectively solve conflicts.
Accesses the course of action on certain situations and if the situation merits, asks guests, residents, employees, transients, or outside visitors to leave the property. Handles such issues with dignity and respect and recognizes when these situations become a safety or security concern.
Takes appropriate steps to report or correct problems by keeping the safety of everyone involved at the highest priority.
Responds to emergencies on the property and takes necessary steps to report or correct the situation.
Uses a radio, telephone, email account, or face to face contact to communicate with guests and employees regarding any safety and security concerns or issues taking immediately take steps to solve or report the problem and follows up with guests or employees to ensure total satisfaction.
Assists with all medical emergencies large or small and administer first aid to guests and employees while recognizing when emergency medical assistance needs to be contacted.
Completes investigations and prepares written reports for incidents regarding medical emergencies, property loss and damage, or other criminal activity occurring on the property.
Maintains an inventory of lost and found property, and is responsible for communicating with guests in person, over the phone, or through email, and prepares shipments of property to return to guests.
Records all daily activity on a typed Daily Activity Report.
Performs other duties as required.
What You Bring
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of operations on the Hospitality Industry strongly preferred.
Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods of time, and to remain on feet for up to 8 hours.
Previous experience with building alarms/systems preferred.
Technologically sound with Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with current regulations pertaining to safety and security.
