Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and servicing Western Insurance Associates personal insurance clients.
This is done by:
Client Relationship Management
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional customer service, processing policy transactions, and ensuring clients receive optimal insurance coverage tailored to their needs.
Communication with clients is a big part of this role. Answering the phone and promptly responding to emails is essential to providing excellent customer service.
Policy Management
Review insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage and recommend changes as needed.
Process any policy change requests, including endorsements, policy cancellations, and reinstatements.
Claims Assistance
Guide clients through the claims process, helping them file claims and providing follow-up support.
Liaise between clients and insurance carriers to ensure timely resolution of claims.
Administrative Tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
Generate and distribute certificates of insurance, ID cards, and other policy documents.
Track and ensure timely renewal of policies.
Risk Management
Ensure adherence to insurance regulations and agency policies.
Educate clients on coverage options and help them manage risk effectively.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with agents, underwriters, and team members to provide seamless service to clients.
Education & Development
Stay current with industry trends, policy changes, and product offerings from insurance carriers.
Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as required.
