What you'll do in this role:
The primary purpose of this position is to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. You will ensure that Integer internal and external customers' expectations are met or exceeded.

You may identify and procure the new equipment and technology of significant complexity, scope and cost.
You will originate new documents such as protocols, reports, specifications and work-instructions; and you may also review documentation work product of peers and subordinates.
You will plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or high-profile problems which have an important impact on major programs.
You may lead cross-functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and or complexity and may influence others to achieve goals.
You may provide supervision for up to 4 to 5 technicians and/or associate engineers. As well, you will serve as a coach and mentor for other engineers, where you will be modeling the behaviors and disciplines of an engineering or technical professional.
You will initiate and maintain relationships with individuals and business units within or outside your site or organization. And, as a subject matter expert in an engineering or specialty field, you may be directed to deploy your expertise across multiple organizations and/or locations. As a result, occasional travel may be required in this position.
You embed Quality within the Engineering discipline - “I own Quality.” You are a standard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS), facilitating and/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI's and journey to 5 Sigma.
You perform other duties, as needed and as directed by your line of supervision.

What sets you apart:
You have earned, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or related technical field. Preferably, you may also have a Master's Degree or a Doctorate.
You are technically seen as a subject matter expert, a recognition you have earned through 7+ years of progressive engineering and/or technically focused roles and experiences.
Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may be considered with 15+ years of relevant experience.
You have a strong technical and problem solving foundation, and preferably training and certifications, in a variety of problem-solving and project management methodologies such as 6-Sigma (green belt as a minimum, black belt preferred), 8D, RCA, 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fish Bone), Kepner-Tregoe, PMP.

Senior Engineer- Manufacturing Salary: $113,025- $165,770
Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer's success. Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause research, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to define quality and reliability standards.
Selects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.
Selects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics.
Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Perform calibration on inspection tools e.g. micrometers, calipers height gages etc.
Maintain gage track program, print list of gages due for calibration in the beginning of each month and follow up with calibration.
Send gages out for calibration, maintain calibration records.
Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for research data.
Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports.
Research for engineering test results and implements process changes to resolve problems.
Performs out of box audits (OBA) as required.
Provides factory hold up to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials and manufacturing.
May be required to perform receiving inspection.
Review at the beginning of the shift the Quality Auditors assistance and validated the Check List.
Scrap disposition at MRB in less than 24 hours.
Assure that the Customer implementation activities are in place.
Meet the SSYMA requirements (boats, goggles, gloves, ear plugs).
Review the SPC data and confirm the actions are effective.
Validate the tooling and gauges are working properly (microscope, magnifier, etc).

What you will be doing:
As Advanced Quality Engineer, you will serve as the quality lead who will collaborate with new product development teams to capture consumer feedback and ensure built-in quality in our next generation of Beauty and Wellness products. You will also be supporting continuous improvement teams to drive down field return rates by working on quality improvement initiatives and provide technical expertise to solve complex problems.
* Reduce return rate and ensure 4.5+ online star rating by ensuring quality deliverables are fulfilled as part of the new product development process and launch products that meet consumer expectations.
* Create lessons learned document which includes a list of quality issues to be addressed by analyzing all available sources of data to develop an expert understanding of consumer needs from both a functionality and a usability perspective and work with product design teams to come up with engineering solutions on key quality issues on similar products and competitor products.
* Develop design qualification test plans in collaboration with engineering team that are representative of consumer use cases.
* Define critical to quality (CTQ) characteristics in product & manufacturing specification.
* Create risk management documents (DFMEA, Hazard analysis, Risk management plan and Risk management reports). Ensure product quality and safety risks are mitigated in a timely manner before launch.
* Perform product teardowns of engineering build samples to critically evaluate the design and provide inputs in design reviews.
* Review manufacturing quality control plans (IQCP, IPCP) and work closely with contract manufacturing vendors to ensure robust assembly processes.
* Review manufacturing readiness review checklist to verify all risks are mitigated and the product is ready for mass production.
* Make technical recommendations to drive improvements by identifying, analyzing, and interpreting quality trends. Work closely with engineering & supplier quality teams and manufacturing vendors in identifying root causes and corrective actions.

Under the supervision of experienced engineering mentors and managers, you will select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in making adaptations and modifications to existing products and processes.
You will review procedures and plans prior to implementation as well as evaluate existing products, processes and materials for failure analysis and potential improvements.
You will participate in projects that require you to investigate, develop, document and implement new product and process technologies of moderate complexity and scope.
You will perform work on technical projects where you will follow Integer's standard quality management and production system methodologies to investigate opportunities for product and process improvements.
You will apply standard data analysis practices and techniques to establish root cause for product and process failures or to support the justification for improvements to products and processes.
You will be required to observe products and processes to recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations throughout a series of detailed steps or processes to establish root cause of the discrepancies.
You are expected to collaborate with others in the exchange of information, ask questions and regularly check for understanding in support of your development as an engineer.
You embed Quality within the Engineering discipline - “I own Quality.” You are a standard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS), facilitating and/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI's and journey to 5 Sigma.

What sets you apart:
You have earned, as a minimum, a bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field and have between 0-3 years of experience.
Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may be considered with 5+ years of relevant experience.
While you will have regular support and guidance from more experienced engineers, supervisors or managers, you will demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other associates and cross functional teams.
You demonstrate a solid technical aptitude with the ability to be an effective contributor to a team or produce results of a technical nature as an individual.

Process Development Engineer Salary: $66,825- $98,010
