Integration Charter Schools (ICS) is a network of associated schools dedicated to providing innovative pathways to college that fully integrate students living with special needs and other challenges. John W. Lavelle Preparatory Charter School: Staten Island's first charter school, Lavelle Prep's middle and high school division continues to provide students with a rigorous college preparatory education that equips and empowers students to succeed in their future endeavours. In its eleventh year, Lavelle Prep Upper maintains a consistent 100% college acceptance rate and 97% graduation rate. Lavelle Prep's elementary school division will now serve kindergarten through second grade beginning in September 2020 with 40% of admission seats reserved for students with IEP. New Ventures Charter School:New Ventures aims to promote college and career readiness for over-age and under-credited at-risk youth on Staten Island by enabling them to graduate high school in preparation for excellence in their academic, professional and personal lives. In its fifth year of operation, New Ventures has announced a full-term, 5 year charter renewal from the New York State Board of Regents. Lois & Richard Nicotra Early College Charter School:Designed to provide an innovative pathway to college graduation for all students, including those living with emotional challenges and other disabilities, Nicotra Charter is currently working on their high school level curriculum while planning the creation of an early college track through partnership with St. John's University.Richmond Preparatory Charter School: Our most recent addition to ICS, Richmond Prep will open its doors in September 2021.
