MetLife is looking for an Integration Engineer responsible for research, evaluate, design, engineering and implementation of MetLife's enterprise integration platforms. Provides support across multiple integration technologies such as IBM Integration BUS (IIB), IBM Message Queue (IMQ), API Connect, App Connect Professional and Enterprise as well as Cloud Paks. Engineer will also support onboarding new applications to the infrastructure. The Candidate should be highly motivated and strive to the improvement and automation of the technologies.


Key Responsibilities:


Collect requirements to onboard applications, create configurations, implement and support testing implementations using Agile technologies. Investigation of released fix packs, automation. Capacity reviews of current platform Support and collaborate for future upgrades for the current technologies. Create documentation related to fix packs or new technologies to share internally with other engineers, operations teams and developer teams.



Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


Required:

3-5 years work experience in IT and/or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline 1-3 years of experience on WebSphere technologies such as MQ, IIB, API Connect. Ability to understand application requirements for MQ and IIB and automate configurations. Experience building and managing Key components of fully automated tool stack Scripting languages (Bash, crown, powershell, Python)


Preferred:

Experience with open-source technologies is a plus Experience with modern technologies such as Cloud/Azure, Containers and Chef Experience with DevOps processes and key components Experience working in Agile environment Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Azure DevOps , Power shell, Perl, PowerShell, Python, Java...)

• 10+ years' IT experience

• Experience with AWS services
• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Familiarity with Linux distributions: RedHat, CentOS
• Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Nexus
• Strong communication skills

RTL/Logic design on ASIC's or IP blocks or SOC's using System Verilog RTL coding Computer architecture background Demonstrable writing System VerilogProgramming in C++, Perl and Assembly Algorithms and digital logic Familiarity with Proprietary, and 3rd-party, logic design tools
