V-280 Propulsion Systems Integration Engineer:

Bell is seeking team-oriented Propulsion Systems Engineers to join Bell's V-280 FLRAA (Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft) team. These positions will support the development, qualification, and test of the FLRAA aircraft. These positions will be part of a diverse team of engineers designing and analyzing propulsion systems, including: gas turbine engines, engine controllers, inlets, exhausts, heat exchangers, blowers, and fire protection systems. For each of these components, the propulsion systems team is responsible for:
The technical management of suppliers for both simple and complex components The project management of component development, qualification and delivery required to meet aircraft first flight. Auditing supplier performance analysis and developing integrated performance analysis using a broad range of 1-D tools Conducting computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and conjugate heat transfer (CHT) analysis to produce high fidelity solutions, supporting the 3-D aerothermal integration of these components Integrating supplier electrical and data interfaces into the aircraft to allow for successful control and data management Planning, support, and analysis of component, subsystem, and aircraft test activities Supporting the mechanical integration of these components into the aircraft



Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline is required. A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience is required. All levels of experience beyond 3 years will be considered.
Position Qualifications:


Candidates are required to have experience with the technical management of suppliers:
Managing tasking between a supplier and your company. This includes the usage of traditional tools such as a rolling action item list (RAIL) Developing a working level relationship with individuals at a supplier Authoring a supplier statement of work and dispositioning Subcontract Data Requirements Lists ( SDRLs) Conducting internal and supplier coordination to develop requirements and interface control documents Creating, updating, and releasing subsystem and component specifications through Cameo or an equivalent tool
It is preferred that candidates have some experience with project management, performance analysis, or CFD/CHT analysis.

Project management:
Developing and interpreting integrated master schedule using Primavera P6 or an equivalent tool Operating as a work package lead or control account manager for a program utilizing the earned value management system
Performance analysis:
Developing a 1-D performance analysis model for a gas turbine engine using NPSS or an equivalent tool Integrating compressor and turbine component maps and efficiencies into a 1-D performance model Developing and integrating engine inlet recovery and backpressure characteristics into a 1-D performance model Conducting initial inlet sizing of ram, semi-ram, and flush inlets based on industry standard loss characteristics
CFD/CHT analysis:
De-featuring geometries using Space Claim or an equivalent tool Creating and refining 3-D meshes to enable CFD and CHT analysis Conducting steady and transient CFD and CHT analyses using Fluent or an equivalent tool Post-processing CFD and CHT results to inform the design through geometry changes and creation of 1-D characteristics

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Integration Specialist. This position will work closely with the Sales team in a specified territory to provide System Integration, Project Management, and Training functions to existing and new customers. We consider this position to be an extension of our sales efforts for Sensus meters and automation.
This is a remote position, however must live in Greenville, SC and surrounding area.

Responsibilities
Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule for all sites involved in the project Assists with meetings, projects, schedules, data requests and assignments Perform training to internal and external customers on operation, theory, and troubleshooting of the AMR/AMI system Provide technical product support and troubleshoot as needed with utility field technicians, customers and vendors Review, analyze, and provide solutions to meter installation data before installation and invoicing Review and provide answers related to scope of work to an RFP/RFQMonitors project punch list items and obtains signoff of project Administers communications to team on progress of AMR/AMI projects Organize, schedule and attend project meetings in person or via conference call

Qualifications
