    Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) is seeking a Practice Administrator. This role provides operational support to Medical Directors and Emergency Room Physicians and APPs associated with our hospital partner(s). This role acts as the primary liaison and coordinator between IES Operations, the Provider Group, and Hospital administration. Current needs is to primarily provide on-site support to Texoma Medical Center in Dension, TX; however, subject to support remotely or travel to assist other sites based on organizational needs. IES is dedicated to cultivating best practices in emergency care, providing comprehensive acute care services, creating value, and supporting patients, employees, clients, providers, and physicians in pursuit of the highest quality health care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Others may be assigned. Provide administrative support to the Emergency and/or other assigned departments to include the Medical Directors, Clinicians, and support staff. Establish and maintain strong relations with Medical Directors, Hospital Administration, Managers, Clinicians, Nursing, PA and other IES personnel. Assist leadership team with support on operational needs. Communicate day-to-day operational issues with clinical leaders timely. Facilitate connections with appropriate personnel for further assistance when required. Ensure timely completion and maintenance of fair and adequate Clinician schedules including, but not limited to, importing into databases, and releasing to Clinicians. Ensure all shifts are covered and resolve call outs in a timely manner. Schedule and coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and calendars. Answer and screen Clinician calls. Participate in and organize education, social, and quality events as requested. Maintain proper documentation including, but not limited to, assisting with writing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and implementing and maintaining appropriate employee records at the site level. Maintain clinical and/or operations dashboards as requested. Run and/or create reports as assigned which could include tracking and trending data. Monitor and report metrics as assigned. Assist with development and execution of operational strategies and planning activities. Provide input and adhere to all processes. Partners with IES departments including, but not limited to, Payroll, HR, Credentialing & Enrollment, and Recruiting on processes and/or requests. Provide process inputs to other departments timely. Ensure new hires are oriented, trained, and new hire checklist is completed. Coordinate training/educational courses to include shadow/orientation shifts. The position applies expertise in implementation science, epidemiology, biostatistics, emergency and health policy, health education and related fields to generate evidence that informs clinical decisions in emergency medicine and improves health outcomes in emergency services. The IES Research Institute is an academic research division embedded within the Emergency Medicine Department at John Peter Smith (JPS) Health Network, a public safety-net health system with a 3-year emergency medicine residency program. The goal of the Institute is to develop and support scholarly activity, research, and grants to improve health outcomes and healthcare delivery for vulnerable emergency medicine populations through discovery and innovation. We use a team science approach and prioritize research that informs practice. We are a growing group supporting 15 core faculty members, a 3-year residency program with 45 residents, and fellowships in administration, academics, emergency ultrasonography, and street medicine, among others. This non-exempt position helps facilitate rounding and documentation for the providers and assists with patient and family communication. This particular role will be part-time with desired availability for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Primary location(s) will be Royse City (75189) on Tuesdays and Dallas (75228) on Wednesdays and Saturdays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Others may be assigned. Obtains history and vital signs, and documents in the electronic medical record system. Assists in the examination and procedures for patients with provider. Assists with documentation of dictated patient notes. Answers telephone calls and messages within the same day. Monitors labs and X-ray results. Reviews the providers schedule throughout the day and prior to the start of shift to ensure patient flow. Participates in performance improvement activities, staff trainings, weekly team huddles. Reports errors or issues promptly to supervisor. Maintains security of medical records and patient's health information according to HIPAA standards. Communicates orders of medical supplies to the team. Follows through with customer inquiries, requests and complaints. Forwards difficult and non-routine inquiries or requests to appropriate level for resolution. Provides occasional work guidance, technical advice, and training staff. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
