SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Service Technician for our client who will be responsible for the repair and service of luxury motorhomes. The essential functions of the Service Technician position require strong attention to detail, high quality production while not sacrificing efficiency and productivity. A strong understanding of the construction and functionality of motorhomes /motorcoaches is essential to this position.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on luxury motor coaches.
Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot high voltage systems.
Conduct field service operations to address customer needs effectively.
Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on electrical systems.
Diagnose motorcoach repair needs and provide time and part estimates in conjunction with service writer.
Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinetry, flooring and AV areas of the motorcoach/motorhome.
Track all repairs and parts and provide detailed information to the service advisor.
Talk with customers, as needed, regarding repair and service needs.
Assist in delivery process for sales of motorcoaches.
Ensure the completed work adheres to quality standards by completing quality control reviews.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment being well versed in several trades.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
Familiarity with industrial electrical practices and logic controllers.
Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions promptly.
Experience with HVAC/R systems is a plus, but not required.
RVIA or ABYC technical certification desired but not required.
RTI and AMX knowledge a plus +

Physical Requirements:

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to ascend/descend, work atop and use stairs/ladders
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to:
Hard glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.
Ability to work in enclosed/tight spaces, and on secured motorhome roofs at various heights.

What You'll Do:
As ABC's HVAC Service Technician and Sales Home Comfort Advisor, you will:
Carry out full AC & Heating installation skills such as: equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic framing, roofing, plumbing and electrical skills.
Provide expert recommendations and solutions for customers' HVAC needs (sales ~25% of role)
Work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, CSRs, and customers to ensure complete alignment at all times during the service repair or replacement process.

Carry out full AC & Heating installation skills such as: equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic framing, roofing, plumbing and electrical skills.
