Primary Level Salary Range: $171,000.00 - $256,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Your role as a Finance Intern
This internship will focus on supporting the Finance and Project Accounting teams with project setup, billing support, and financial documentation while learning the fundamentals of construction accounting.
• Assist with setting up new projects in the ERP system, including basic coding and data entry
• Support the entry and review of project budgets, budget changes, and financial updates
• Help research and implement analytical data strategies
• Assist with mapping general ledger accounts to financial statement footnotes and preparing supporting schedules
• Support the standardization of account reconciliations through consistent templates and documentation
• Help maintain financial documentation, including waivers, tax certificates, and contract files
• Respond to internal requests and assist with administrative finance tasks as assigned
• Help design and implement a standardized finance document retention and filing structure, including naming conventions and folder hierarchy, to improve organization and cross-team accessibility
Minimum Qualifications
• Junior status or above
• Basic understanding of accounting or finance principles
