Duties Help Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations, within the 25 FOD locations and are assigned based on the needs to the agency ERO Field Offices. As a Deportation Officer at the Entry Level you will work with more experienced officers to provide support and perform the following segments of work related to immigration investigation, custody, identification and location, arrest, prosecution and deportation: * Assist with the apprehension of individuals that are accused of violating immigration or related laws; * Assist with preparing investigative reports in sufficient detail and accuracy to support possible prosecution and/or administrative action; * Perform law enforcement support duties such as taking fingerprints and photographs; * Conduct routine interviews using various law enforcement methods and techniques (e.g., observation, interviews, document inspection, data analysis, etc.) to respond to a variety of immigration inquiries and complaints; and * Document, transport, deport, and/or escort criminal and non-criminal migrants under the guidance of a more senior officer. * Initiate both criminal and civil prosecutions and deport migrants to foreign countries as well as performing various aspects of custodial operations related to civil immigration enforcement. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Oversees and monitors the activities of the incarcerated persons in living areas, recreation activities areas, dining areas and visitation areas. * Coordinates and monitors movement of incarcerated persons, conducts counts, and provides emergency response as needed. * May be assigned to various posts including, but not limited to, the control room, front and sally port entrance, health services, special housing, perimeter security, transportation, work details, reception, intake, and visits officer, etc., as required by management. * Provides security in program activities and supervises labor crews in various areas around the facility. * Conducts shakedown for contraband materials, either individually or as part of a specialized team. Confiscated contraband in accordance with facility policies and procedures. * Initiates disciplinary reports on incarcerated persons. * Prepares reports and maintains daily logs as required. * Ensures prompt and appropriate assistance to incarcerated persons in the event of injury, illness or trauma. * Promotes facility cleanliness and reports need for maintenance or repairs. * Serves as member of special teams to respond to emergencies as required. * Completes training courses as required by facility and industry training standards. * Performs correctional duties for any shift as defined by management. * Is available for mandatory or volunteer overtime to support necessary staffing of the facility. * Obtains certification to carry a department issued service weapon during training and maintains this certification throughout employment. * Performs other duties as assigned. The tuition officer's role at the high school is to ensure that families are properly billed tuition and fees and to ensure that payments are made in a timely manner. The Tuition Officer is a resource to parents with questions about tuition, fees, grants and scholarships. The Tuition Officer is responsible to the School President and to the Tuition Manager in Educational Financial Services. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and energetic with a demonstrated ability to work with little oversight/direction while handling and maintaining confidential information and always exercising discretion/discernment in handling related office and school matters. This role requires a high degree of initiative, professionalism, organization, and stellar communication skills working within a Catholic environment where Catholic values define the words and actions of all. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that all students are in the Tuition Management System and they have been properly billed and have received credit for any grants, scholarships or other discounts. Ensure that enrollment in the Tuition Management System reconciles with enrollment in the Student Information System(s). Assist the school's president and financial aid committee in awarding need based grants to families who have applied for tuition assistance. Collect cash payments from parents for entry into the Tuition Management System. Prepare bank deposits for tuition and fees collected at school as required by policy. In conjunction with school's Accountant, coordinate, prepare and review all necessary reports to complete tuition reconciliation. Respond to parent questions regarding tuition, documenting responses in the Tuition Management System. Enforce school and system policies concerning Tuition and Fees collection. Follow up regularly with families who are behind in payment of tuition in an effort to collect the funds due to the school. Interact with School President and other school personnel regarding tuition and fees management. Prepare all necessary reports required during the annual audit of tuition records. Prepare ad hoc reports as needed. The Tuition Officer will also be responsible for collecting and storing all compliance forms for faculty, staff, coaches, and volunteers. Duties are representative and not limited to those stated above Qualifications: Must be Proficient with Excel software 3 - 5 years accounting/bookkeeping/customer service experience Prior experience with Accounts Receivable management, a plus This position is a full-time, 12-month position Interviews will be granted to the most qualified applicants.
