This dual-role position is critical to the quality assurance and compliance oversight of cathodic protection (CP) system repairs and commissioning at DoD fuel facilities.You will oversee the design, QA inspections, testing, installation supervision, and commissioning of CP systems on underground tanks and pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Corrosion Expert / CP Specialist Duties: Serve as the “corrosion expert” as defined in NAVFAC and UFC guidance. Supervise installation, ensure installer understanding of system layout and industry best practices. Collect and interpret site-specific data including soil resistivity and coating types. Perform and supervise commissioning, system testing, and performance verification. Train on-site personnel in system operation and maintenance.
