Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research property attributes and ownership information, continually updating KBC records to reflect accurate and up-to-date information
Operationalize data processes to provide team with ad-hoc analysis
Track market information and prepare monthly, quarterly, and client-specific market reports
Collaborate with Location Intelligence (GIS) team at KBC, coordinating proprietary market dashboards and data visualization projects for external presentations
Proactively leverage KBC data and research for client strategy and business use; partner with KBC stakeholders to identify improvements and opportunities for thought leadership on market insights
Develop and continuously enhance research activities and processes, including tracking key market and building level activity
Assist in efforts to enhance our proprietary database and drive data entry, identify process and tool improvement opportunities
Creatively translate data into meaningful insights for our clients, supporting communication between KBC New Jersey and clients
Drive data standardization processes for the purposes of marketing and industry collateral

As a Deportation Officer at the full performance level you will perform the following duties:
* Performing law enforcement duties to investigate, identify, locate, arrest, detain, prosecute, and remove foreign nationals who pose a threat to national security and public safety, as well as those that enter the United States illegally with the intent to undermine the integrity of the nation's immigration laws and border control efforts.
* Conducting difficult, complex, and sensitive investigations that require development of new or substantially modified methods in order to resolve anticipated problems for the purpose of identifying violators of immigration laws through the use of investigative methods and techniques as well as determining citizenship, to include gathering facts and evidence pertaining to noncitizens who pose a threat to national security and/or public safety
* Conducting custody determinations regarding the detention of noncitizens in accordance with constitutional law, federal statutes, regulations and policies; coordinating and negotiating with domestic and foreign law enforcement agencies to manage the detention and removal of noncitizens in the U.S.; and sharing compiled actionable intelligence information with law enforcement intelligence communities.
* Interviewing witnesses and interrogating suspects to gather critical information and evidence; obtaining and serving criminal and civil warrants of arrest; serving as agency lead on interagency, federal, state, and local law enforcement task forces to address threats to national security or public safety, as well as processing, detaining, and transporting noncitizens throughout the legal process.
* Determining legal sufficiency to identify cases that meet the elements of a federal crime and the prosecutorial guidelines of the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO); presenting cases for criminal proceedings; preparing and issuing subpoenas in support of criminal prosecutions; and initiating both criminal and civil prosecutions and deporting noncitizens to foreign countries as well as performing various aspects of custodial operations related to civil immigration enforcement.

You qualify for the GS-9 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-7 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
* Assisting with the apprehension of individuals that are accused of violating immigration or related laws;
* Assisting in preparing investigative reports in sufficient detail and accuracy to support possible prosecution and/or administrative action;
* Performing law enforcement support duties such as taking fingerprints and photographs;
* Conducting routine interviews; using various law enforcement methods and techniques (e.g., observation, interviews, document inspection, data analysis, etc.) to respond to a variety of immigration inquiries and complaints;
* Documenting, transporting, deporting, and/or escorting criminal and non-criminal aliens under the guidance of a more senior officer; OR
Education: A master's (or equivalent graduate degree such as a L.L.B/J.D.) or 2 academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Graduate level education must have been from an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of successfully completed graduate level education beyond the first full year and experience as described above that when combined meets 100% of the requirement. Graduate level education must have been from an accredited college or university and must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

Deportation Officer Transition Program (DOTP): Selectees who have not previously held a position as a Deportation Officer, Detention and Deportation Officer, Supervisory Deportation Officer, or Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer and have not previously attended the six-week DOTP will be required to do so after entrance on duty. Successful completion of this course is mandatory per agency policy. Failure to successfully complete the academy will result in your removal from this position.
Firearms Requirement: You will be required to carry a firearm while performing duties of this position. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory. You must satisfactorily complete (or have previously completed) the firearms component of the Criminal Investigation Training Program at Glynco, GA. Work Conditions: This job requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion. Surveillance frequently require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and crawling through a variety of terrain. The work involves high risks with exposure to a wide variety of potential dangerous situations and unusual environmental stress. The officer typically works long and irregular hours, on weekends, holidays, and at night.
Education
Physical Abilities Assessment: All applicants must pass the PAA prior to graduation from FLETC. The PAA consists of two parts: Criterion Task Test (CTT) and a 1.5 mile run. The CTT consists of a timed obstacle course that involves a vehicle exit, barrier surmount, low crawl, window egress, stair climb, repeat crawl, pre-cuffing position, 175 lbs. dummy drag, repeat barrier surmount, and a sprint. The CTT is then followed by a 1.5 mile run in 14 minutes and 30 seconds or less.
Motor Vehicle Operation: You must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to drive an automobile or light truck. You may also need to obtain and maintain a state commercial driver's license to operate an over-the-road bus capable of transporting 30 or more persons.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will report to the Cyber Incident Response Team within the Office of Counter Terrorism.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Conduct remote and on-site cyber security assessments for non-Executive agencies, local governments, and public authorities (our "Customers"), including cyber risk assessments, network scans, and cyber threat and vulnerability analysis.
* Provide program management of cyber security risk assessment services, including coordination with other government entities, tracking and scheduling of resources, and developing metrics for program evaluation.
* Provide expertise to local governments and other government entities to improve their cybersecurity governance with recommendations to further develop policies and processes.
* Demonstrate and communicate knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including but not limited to the CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST SP 800-53, etc.
* Conduct outreach with our customers to discuss cyber security policies, programs, and infrastructure.
* Lead the development of Customer-facing cyber security programs which align with industry best practices across domains such as IT asset management, configuration management, cyber security policies and procedures, data governance, access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response and security awareness training.
* Brief unit and agency leadership on program performance, requirements, and future development.
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of cybersecurity issues and emerging trends to stay ahead of potential risks and support proactive security development.
* Assist in developing and distributing actionable strategic, technical, and tactical cyber information and intelligence to non-executive agencies, local governments, and public authorities through weekly, monthly, or ad hoc reports, briefings, and presentations.
* Support cybersecurity meetings, presentations, seminars, etc., to foster information-sharing and raise awareness across relevant stakeholders.
* Support training exercises targeted to non-executive agencies, local governments, and public authorities focusing on cybersecurity best practices.
* Support other CIRT program areas as required.
* Supervise and manage lower grade analysts assigned to the cyber security risk assessment program.
Travel will be required (no more than 25%) to support customer initiatives and engagements.
Operational Needs:
* Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver's License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required.

What You'll Take On:
Lead Threat Intelligence Operations: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the organization's cyber threat intelligence (CTI) program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance.
Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Perform deep-dives into cyber threats, including analyzing malware, understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and tracking threat actor groups.
Develop and Maintain Threat Models: Create and refine threat models and frameworks to predict and prepare for potential attacks, focusing on threats relevant to our industry and infrastructure.
Enhance Our Security Posture: Work with our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Detection Engineering, Automation Engineers and Incident Response teams to integrate threat intelligence into our detection and prevention systems, improving our ability to identify and respond to threats.
Produce Actionable Reporting: Generate timely and high-quality intelligence/Threat Landscape reports, risk forecasts and alerts for technical and executive audiences, translating complex threat information into clear, actionable insights.
Automation: Promote automation of indicator ingestion, correlation, and dissemination across GSOC, Automation and IR platforms.
KPI's: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the threat intelligence program (e.g., intelligence-to-action rate, time to disseminate).
Maturity Assessment: Conduct periodic maturity assessments of the threat intelligence function, recommending improvements in processes, skills, and tools.
Mentor and Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team's mission.
What You Bring:
Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 3 years in a dedicated threat intelligence role.
Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including knowledge of threat actor groups, common attack vectors, and malware families. Insider threat knowledge is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data from various sources (e.g., open-source intelligence, dark web forums, technical reports) to form a cohesive threat picture.
Intelligence Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with common threat intelligence frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and Diamond Model.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Tool Proficiency: Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and forensic tools.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a threat intelligence or related cybersecurity role.
Strong understanding of cyber threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, Cyber Kill Chain).
Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) like MISP, Recorded Future, Anomali, or ThreatConnect.
