    Job Description Assists with the planning, organizing, and managing of the bank's deposit gathering efforts in a manner consistent with its strategic plan, vision, mission and core values. Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to: * Fraud Investigation & Case Management: * Lead investigations into suspected or confirmed cases of financial aid fraud or identity theft, including documentation, resolution, and reporting. * Oversee and manage student communications related to identity theft or fraud disputes, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution. * Document and report confirmed fraud incidents to the Senior Financial Aid Compliance Coordinator who will then refer confirmed fraud to the Office of Inspector General (OIG). * Maintain accurate case records and supporting documentation. * Compliance Oversight & Regulatory Reporting: * Prepare reports and documentation to support internal fraud oversight and regulatory compliance. * Assist in supporting institutional responses to compliance reviews and oversight inquiries. * Fraud Prevention, Risk Assessment & Monitoring: * Support the institution's Identity Theft Prevention Program by identifying risk factors and monitoring fraud indicators. * Analyze data and trends to identify patterns of suspicious activity and recommend strategies to mitigate future risk. * Stay informed on emerging fraud schemes, technologies, and regulatory changes to strengthen prevention strategies. * Policy Development, Training & Communication: * Develop, implement, and maintain fraud prevention policies, procedures, and training materials. * Educate financial aid staff on fraud prevention best practices through training, resource sharing, and process updates. * Communicate findings, risks, and process improvement recommendations to the Director of Financial Aid and appropriate campus partners. * Institutional Support & Special Projects: * Assist with financial literacy initiatives and default management activities as needed. * Participate in special projects related to financial aid compliance, fraud prevention, or institutional priorities. * Other duties as assigned.
