Job Description
Observe gaming and non-gaming activity by monitoring electronic surveillance equipment to ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, regulations and rules and protect company assets from illegal or questionable activities.
Observe, document and report any variances to the company, internal controls, money handling activity and state gaming regulations.
Complete daily audits of department activity, duty logs and cooperate with departments during investigations.
Possess a thorough knowledge of all table games and gaming functions.
Respond immediately to any activities that appear unusual or suspicious.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum of 6 months casino surveillance experience preferred.
Knowledge of CCTV system, all casino games, working knowledge of Microsoft office programs such as excel and Word.
Must be able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

* Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye. Lasik, ALK, RK, and PRK corrective eye surgeries are acceptable eye surgeries for applicants, and you will be considered eligible for this position provided specific visual tests are passed. Waiting periods are Lasik-2 months after surgery, PRK-6 months after surgery, and ALK/RK-1 year after surgery.
* Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges.
* Complete or secure an appropriate waiver for a 13-week Uniformed Police Training Program (UPTP) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) AND a 10-week Mixed Basic Training Course (MBTC) at the Agency's James J. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GL-07) performing at least 2 of the 3 duties such as:
* Assisting in investigative responsibilities to include physical surveillance and monitoring protective activities and active criminal investigations;
* Assisting in protective advances to identify critical and vulnerable facilities and sites for visible threats; or
* Providing routine technical advice and guidance regarding protection and law enforcement operations, physical security, crime prevention, force protections and operations security.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education in an accredited college or university leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Applicant selected for this position will be required to sign a Continued Service Agreement (CSA) before being assigned to an initial training class. This position is covered by Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO) and additional compensation may be paid at the rate of up to 25% of the base salary.

Position Summary:
The primary duties of the Operator in the Surveillance Operations Center (SOC) is to assume responsibilities for the command, control, and coordination of the CCSN campus security operations. This position serves as the main security dispatching location for receiving, relaying, and dispatching all security related radio calls in both normal business hour and emergency situations. The Operator will maintain a constant vigil of all surveillance cameras in an effort to provide consistent and professional oversight for all areas of the campus, both interior and exterior.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Ensuring that all CCSN policy and procedures are adhered to by all employees, guests, and clients.
* Report all unusual or suspicious activity to security supervisor or to Law Enforcement if directed to.
* Execute multi-tasking abilities to include answering phones, recording and logging all pertinent information, dispatching via two-way radios, monitoring surveillance cameras, and contacting emergency personnel when directed to do so.
* Must possess the ability to remain calm during emergency situations, following all pertinent procedure as outlined in the Surveillance Operation Procedures manual.
* Accurately complete the "Daily Activity Report" (DAR) utilizing the Itrak program.
* Must have a working knowledge of surveillance camera equipment and possess the ability to operate cameras, review footage, and record needed segments of incidents for future use/review.
* Must have a clear and precise level of knowledge as it pertains to campus programs and services that CCSN provides.
* Supervise all access into the surveillance room, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed to enter or obtain authorization from the department management team for requests to enter that are outside the scope of the security or surveillance team.
* Required to protect all confidential information, company property, and electronic data.
* Must comply with all safety rules set forth by CCSN.
