Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO). This position will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system and as such, works in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO. The position shall have the detailed knowledge and expertise required to manage the security aspects of an information system and, in many organizations, is assigned responsibility for the day-to-day security operations of a system.
How an ISSO Will Make an Impact:
* Support the ISSM to define, create, and maintain the documentation for certification and authorization of the Air Defense Communication Service (ADCS) system in accordance with requirements.
* Assess the impacts on system modifications and technological advances.
* Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
* Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks.
* Monitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
* Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure security requirements are integrated into all phases of the system development lifecycle.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
* Participate in security audits and assessments conducted by internal and external parties.
* Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
* Manage and maintain security documentation, including incident reports, risk assessments, and security policies.
* Stay abreast of current industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to information security.
* Additionally, ISSOs assess and review systems in order to identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to amend vulnerabilities, implement changes and document upgrades.
What you Will Need to Succeed:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security or 3+ years with BA/BS.
* Security Clearance Level: Secret
* US Citizenship Required
* Possess and maintain a minimum of IAM level III certification IAW the DoD directive 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management such as CISSP, CISM, or GSLC/GIAC.
* Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
* Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
* Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Summary:
The Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) and Dialed Number Recognition (DNR) Analyst conducts collection, analysis, and reporting of foreign communications derived from both Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) and Dialed Number Recognition (DNR) sources in support of military and national-level objectives. Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
* Collect, process, and exploit digital network (DNI) and telephony (DNR) communications in accordance with mission requirements and legal authorities.
* Analyze internet-based and telephony-based metadata to identify target selectors, communication patterns, and relationships.
* Conduct link analysis and call chaining to map networks and uncover new leads.
Reconstruct and interpret digital communications, including email, chat, VoIP, file transfers, and traditional voice calls.
* Fuse DNI and DNR data to create a comprehensive picture of target activity.
* Identify and monitor high-value targets (HVTs) and priority intelligence requirements (PIRs).
* Support target development by discovering new identifiers, infrastructure, and operational patterns.
* Translate, transcribe, and summarize foreign language communications when required.
* Produce and disseminate SIGINT reports and operational intelligence products to commanders and decision-makers.
* Coordinate with multi-discipline intelligence teams (HUMINT, GEOINT, OSINT, CYBER) to enhance situational awareness and targeting accuracy.
* Maintain strict adherence to classification, handling, and dissemination protocols.
* Operate and maintain SIGINT exploitation tools, databases, and analytic platforms.
* Provide real-time or near-real-time intelligence support to combat, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and cyber operations.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Expert written and oral communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum 6 years' experience in supporting national level collection requirements as a DNI/DNR analyst
* Minimum 6 years' experience conducting joint or coalition operations.

Required to wear body armor and use weapons.
Maintains facility security. This includes performing searches of inmates and other persons. This includes the visual inspection of body cavities and possible exposure to body fluids. Responsible for checking inmate mail and/or packages for contraband. Observes inmate behavior to identify inmates exhibiting mental or emotional disorders. Uses counseling techniques or referral action, as outlined in written policies or guidelines. Conducts inspections and visual and audio surveillance of persons, property, vehicles, building and outdoor areas. Physically checks doors, windows, gates, barred sections, fences and other areas to ensure proper security.
Provides emergency assistance during emergencies, disasters and accidents to include but not limited to, CPR, first aid, apprehension of escaping or escaped inmates, implementation of evacuation procedures, provides security of inmates and/or areas in accordance with the emergency situation.
Directs Correctional Officers in supervising inmates in housing units and those segregated for administrative or punitive measures. Directs Correctional Officers in maintaining master inmate location counts and directs the entire operation of the Control Room or the Main Gate. COMPENSATION: $22 Hourly as a Trainee, $23.14 Hourly as a Certified Correctional Officer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
