Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
Previous custodial experience preferred

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking compassionate and professional PRN Residential Counselors to join our team at our residential facilities, serving community members and U.S. military veterans. PRN staff play a vital role in supporting the 24/7 operations of our residential facilities-covering shifts so full-time staff can take time off or attend training-while completing all the tasks that keep the house running, including medication administration, administrative duties, and most importantly, direct client support. Residential Counselors provide one-on-one care, crisis counseling, medication management, educational groups, and foster independence in a safe, therapeutic environment. Candidates should have strong communication and documentation skills. This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of a collaborative team making a lasting impact on clients' recovery journeys.
Schedule. Our Residential Facilities are 24/7 and open every day of the year, and Residential Counselors work fully onsite/in person. PRN staff are typically required to work at least two shifts per month. Shifts are 10 hours in length, with options including the following.
Day: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
Mid-day: 10:30 am - 8:30 pm
Overnight: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Swing Shift: 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Shift Differential Pay. The afternoon or swing shift differential is paid from 3 pm to 11 pm. The evening shift differential is paid from 11 pm to 7 am. The Weekend day shift is paid from 7 am to 3 for Saturday and Sunday only.
Overnight Weekday (Monday - Thursday): $2.50/hour
Overnight Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday): $3.50/hour
Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs): $1.25/hour

Essential Functions:
Observe client behaviors and assess degree of improvement and/or deterioration in targeted problems and behaviors.

Qualifications
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED with a minimum 6 months of experience in mental healthcare and/or relevant population
Preferred: Associates or Bachelor's degree in the human services field
Valid Colorado Driver's License with a driving record that meets the organization's requirements.
Required QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel). Must obtain QMAP certification within 30 days of hire. AMHR provides the required training, and employees must successfully pass the certification exam to meet this requirement.
Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Required Vaccination and TB Test.

Colorado Legal Services (CLS) is a statewide nonprofit legal aid program, with thirteen offices providing civil legal assistance to low-income Coloradans throughout the state. The Farm Worker Rights Division (FWRD) of Colorado Legal Services represents farm workers in federal and state courts, and administrative agencies on a variety of civil legal claims. The FWRD's work focuses primarily on wage theft, human trafficking, immigration, sexual harassment, working conditions and civil rights. The FWRD also runs a comprehensive community education program that involves outreach to workers at labor camps and to community-based groups. The FWRD's client community is comprised primarily of Latino migrant and seasonal farm workers.
The FWRD currently has four summer internship positions for students who share a passion for advocating for the rights of low-wage farm workers. The interns will be based in the regions with the largest population of migrant and seasonal farm workers to conduct outreach to farm workers at labor camps and other locations. The interns will work with clients and potential clients on a variety of legal issues and will travel throughout the rural areas of their respective regions to visit farm workers and conduct outreach at labor camps, collaborate with key partners in the region, and ensure workers have information about their rights and the services that the FWRD provides. When not out in the field, the interns will have the opportunity to utilize their legal research and writing skills to support the attorneys with ongoing federal litigation involving claims arising under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, the Federal Labor Standards Act, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, Colorado wage laws and more.
Location One intern will be placed in each of the following regions of Colorado:
Northeastern (NE) Region - the NE intern will work primarily out of the CLS Greeley office with travel to Brighton-Greeley-Fort Morgan-Yuma areas to conduct outreach.
Arkansas Valley (AV) Region - the AV intern will work out of the CLS La Junta Office or CLS Pueblo Office and will conduct outreach in Pueblo-La Junta - Lamar and surrounding areas.
San Luis Valley (SLV) Region - the SLV intern will work out of the CLS Alamosa office and will conduct outreach in Alamosa-Center-Monte Vista and surrounding areas.

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking compassionate and adaptable Milieu Counselors (PRN) to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and support clients in need of short-term, intensive mental health care. In this role, you'll provide oversight and support to individuals staying in the CSU for up to five days, helping maintain a safe and therapeutic environment through group and individual interactions, meal and activity assistance, safety checks, and responsive care in a fast-paced setting. Schedule. The CSU is a 24/7 program open every day of the year, and Milieu Counselors work fully onsite/in person. Shifts are 10 hours in length, with options including the following. PRN staff are typically required to work at least two shifts per month.
Day: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Overnight: 9:00 pm - 7:00 am
Swing Shift: 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Training & Orientation Availability. This PRN role requires availability to complete initial in-person training and orientation, including a full-day orientation (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) on the Tuesday of the scheduled orientation week, followed by in-person training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday (9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.) that cover clinical documentation and SmartCare.
