This position involves providing supervision to up to 6 six adolescents who are in residential treatment for 30-60 days for issues related to mental health and substance abuse. Residential Counselors support clients in their daily activities and facilitate groups with our clients. Pay Range: $33.65 to $37.88 per hour (Approximately $70,000 to $78,790 annually)

DEFINITION: Provide mental health consultation support to Beanstalk staff, family child care providers in the Beanstalk Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) and enrolled children and families as assigned. Provide consultation and training to staff, family child care providers and families on practices that support inclusive, nurturing, responsive, trauma-informed environments and promote the optimal social and emotional development and well-being of all children. Work collaboratively with staff, providers and families to provide individual assessments, screening, supports, interventions and referrals for children with challenging behaviors, mental health, and/or developmental concerns to ensure their safe and successful participation in their early learning and care program. Collect and report individual and group data to evaluate and support the agency's mental health consultation services.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: A master's degree in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, professional clinical counseling, human development, education or related field. Must comply with continuing education requirements.
EXPERIENCE: Required two-years' experience working with children age birth to five.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification issued by an authorized agency. Personal transportation with valid California driver's license, clean motor vehicle record, current vehicle registration and car insurance. Requires travel to Beanstalk centers and FCCHEN Provider homes.

Social Worker II
Master's degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school in social work or social welfare, marriage, family, and child counseling, child psychology, child development, counseling psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology, education with an emphasis on counseling, or an area that qualifies for licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Social Worker III
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Meet Community Care Licensing requirements for Social Work Personnel, as follows:
3 semester units or 100 days of field practice/experience in an agency setting at the Master's Degree level.
9 semester units related to children and families or 18 months experience working with children and families.
3 semester units in working with minority populations, 6 months experience in working with minority populations, or 6 months in-service training in working with minority populations within the first year of employment as a condition of employment.
3 semester units in child welfare, or two years' experience in public or private child welfare social services setting.
At least one year of experience working with youth who have serious behavioral challenges. This can include experience gained in a field placement setting, internship, or other position serving youth with behavioral challenges
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
All Social Workers
Participate in program 24-hour on-call rotation
Support general recruitment efforts
Case management of youth/families as assigned
Support family visitation as needed
Support placement efforts for placement of the youth or non-minor dependent in the approved Resource Family home
Complete clear, accurate, and timely assessments, case notes, and reports
Conduct family evaluations for potential Resource Families and complete written reports
Conduct family re-evaluations for approved Resource Families and complete written report updates
Knowledge of family systems issues, the use of active listening and positive behavioral supports
Knowledge of Community Care Licensing regulations and seeking consultation as needed
Communicate effectively and respectfully with all members of Child and Family Teams
Maintain youth and family files as necessary to meet licensing requirements and accreditation standards
Assist in social functions, recruitment and retention events, and meetings of the Pathways to Permanency program
Participate in utilization, accreditation, and peer review process as assigned
Conduct meetings and continuing education and pre-approval trainings with Resource Families
Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plan.
Seek out clinical information and advice as needed, accepts constructive feedback and reasonable recommendations from manager
Provides support to leadership and programs with interns, new hires, and additional program needs.
Provides support to leadership and programs in times of program expansion (i.e. Therapeutic Foster Care, Home Based Shelter Care, Complex Care, etc.)
Perform other duties as necessary for the program/agency, including working in other programs
Assists and/or shadows the Social Worker I/II in initial onboarding or in a training capacity
