The Functional Family Therapist provides family therapy to youth and families in need. The FFT therapist provides services both in home and in the community to assure we are meeting the youth and families where they are, in both the therapeutic aspect and their geographical location. We are looking for a Functional Family Therapist who must have: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related clinical field required Two years direct clinical experience required with in home therapy preferred Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and Auto Insurance. Job duties and responsibilities include: Establish a mutually respectful relationship, in which the family is a full partner, empowered to solve their own problems. Intervene decisively, when necessary, to protect family members. Set appropriate boundaries and limits for best practice. Engage youth/families referred and pre-screened for FFT services within 48 hours of receiving referral (business days), and complete initial face-to-face contact no later than 7 business days. Submit weekly referral report to Program Director to provide status of pending referrals assigned.
