For more information, please visit ********************* Program Overview: Youth Villages' Specialized Crisis Services (SCS) Program provides rapid, effective assessment and intervention for youth up to age 18 who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, such as suicidal or homicidal thoughts, severe depression, physical aggression, psychosis, or acting in a destructive or uncontrollable manner. The program offers thorough, strength-based assessments and crisis management to ensure the safety of the youth and others involved. Families, community members, and providers can reach out for support regardless of whether the youth is currently receiving services from Youth Villages. SCS staff work closely with the youth, their family, and key community partners to evaluate risk factors and develop an immediate plan for stabilization. Services are provided in the home or community to offer timely, accessible support during a crisis. In addition to crisis assessment, the program provides ongoing treatment and intervention to help maintain family stability until appropriate long-term services can be secured. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The PRN Crisis Response Counselor: * Provides mobile crisis response and thorough, strength-based assessment of youth and families during crises in their natural environments * Utilizes crisis respite homes when appropriate * Provides ongoing treatment and intervention to support the youth/family until appropriate services are secured * Works well with others in a highly supervised atmosphere * Collaborates with adult crisis teams and community consumers * Attends 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development to help enhance clinical skills (may fall on scheduled day off) * Completes accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR) * Performs other duties as assigned Additional Information: * Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of youth and families served. * Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance. * Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage. Minimum Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in behavioral health setting required, plus individual must have been a consumer of mental health or substance abuse services. Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) designation from TDMHSAS (or obtain certification within 6 months of hire). Peer Recovery Specialist is a person who has self‐identified as beinag in recovery from either a mental illness, a substance use disorder, or co‐occurring disorders of both mental illness and substance use disorder and is eligible to gain Certified Peer Recovery Specialist status in Tennessee. Preference will be given to those with a specialty or advanced certification or training. Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver's license with a “P” and/or “F” endorsement and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Job Summary At Cherokee Millwright, we are a multi-craft company that focuses on the needs of our customers by providing multi-trades personnel to meet the customer's unique job requests. Therefore, all field employees will be cross trained in various trades such as millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil, etc. The focus of this position will be responsible for assisting shop employees by performing various tasks such as cleaning work areas, unloading materials, preparing job, retrieving tools, and cleaning debris. However, it will not be entirely set to this specific skillset. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * General labor tasks in the shop such as: * Job preparation. * Job clean-up. * Assist with material loading, unloading, gathering, and distributing. * Assisting with installations, laying out tools, and performing other basic tasks. * Follow general directions from site leader and/or foreman. * Assist others with their duties by performing basic needs as requested/directed. * Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet our customers' needs and will be expected in this role. Qualifications Education, Skills, and Experience: * Construction or manufacturing experience during high school classes and recommended by CTE teacher(s). * Current high school student or graduated in December 2025 required. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
