Duties include but are not limited to: * Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of all students in the areas of self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills. * Assist in crisis response, conflict resolution and behavior intervention * Monitor student schedule & make adjustments to ensure alignment with graduation, college/career readiness * Develop & implement a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with ASCA National Model * Support responsible decision making within the scope of the district's long-term goals of increasing graduation rate, career goals and reducing chronic absenteeism. * Participate in IEP, 504, and MTSS/RTI meetings as appropriate * Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: NYS School Counselor Certification; Demonstrated knowledge of high school graduation requirements, transcript evaluation, and post secondary planning; Ability to speak, read and write fluent Spanish language required.
