    General Statement The School Social Work intern, under supervision, provides services to support students' social and emotional well-being and collaborates with the school counselor, behavioral health therapist, teachers and other relevant individuals to support students. This includes completing needs assessments, referrals for community-based services and follow-up services. This is a unpaid internship. Internships with our program require a 2 semester/3 quarter commitment and ideally start in the fall to align with the academic school year for the student population we serve. This time frame enables fulfillment of the contact hours required by most universities and a rich learning experience.
