Works under the direct supervision of Substance Abuse Clinical Director/Program Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs moderately complex substance abuse counseling work. Work involves planning, coordinating, and implementing substance abuse counseling activities, and coordinating with other departments, divisions, agencies, and community organizations to ensure the maximum utilization of resources available for chemical dependency treatment and rehabilitation. Facilitates substance abuse program services as directed and approved by the SA Program Administrator and the counselor's immediate supervisor, SA Clinical Director/Program Manager. Screens, and coordinates admissions into Center outpatient adolescent and adult SA services. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. HFC incorporates principles of trauma-informed care, which includes cultural sensitivity, in all areas of service delivery. All job descriptions include the responsibility to learn about and implement trauma-informed practices within the scope of work for the position. Reassignment is a condition of employment that may occur at the employer's discretion. Your work location and hours could change based on program needs.
Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience
Must have high school diploma or GED and have current Licensure as a Chemical Dependency Counselor or counselor Intern, LPC Intern, LPC, or LCSW by the Texas Department of State Health Services. If a LPC or LCDC Intern, individual must comply with terms of that supervision as outlined in the state of Texas licensure requirements. All individuals must meet the educational and experience exemptions/waivers as outlined in DSHS chapter 450.109, pass criminal history standards which includes finger prints as described in 450.115, sign a written agreement to abide by the ethics contained in 450.121, and be worthy of public trust and confidence as determined by Department of State Health Services. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen to work with this population. Must have current driver's license and be insurable under Center insurance. Must pass all Center and SA department mandated trainings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of chemical dependency, chemical abuse that is inclusive of alcoholism and drug addiction as treatable diseases, workable knowledge of the DSM-IV to support diagnoses relating to substance abuse and mental health disorders, co-dependency, relapse prevention, family dynamics, support groups in the community setting, related disorders. Possess knowledge of counseling techniques, importance of evidence based practices, willingness to implement these practices; and knowledge of recovery processes.
Ability to interview, screen, build rapport with, and evaluate clients; to counsel others; to instruct others; to aid in the implementation and the facilitation of chemical dependency treatment programs; to prepare concise reports; and to maintain records.
Ability to write progress notes according to standard, assessments, memos, letters, various complex reports and miscellaneous other documents with acceptable spelling and grammar.
Ability to relate verbal instructions, communicate in a courteous and effective fashion with co-workers, consumers, families, agencies and the public.
Display a customer service orientation; at all times treating customers with respect and as partners in the recovery process.
Skilled in the use of personal and network computers, word processing, database, spreadsheet and office management software (Microsoft Office), familiarity with CMBHS a plus.
Ability to abide by the Centers' and the specific SA Department's policies and procedures. Demonstration of knowledge of the Texas Administrative Codes specific to delivery of SA services and the ability to abide by the guidelines set forth in the TAC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-07 Grade Level: 1 (One) year of specialized experience that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service as described in the vacancy announcement. Essential Functions:

The BCBA is a salaried exempt position. Payroll is processed bi-weekly, constituting 26 annual pay periods. The salary will increase as outlined below:
Benefits:
Annual Compensation package potential ($105,000) - base salary + incentive pay when criteria are met

Increase in salary up to $15,000 upon billing one month of 200 average tech hours per week

The Oklahoma Indigent Defense System (OIDS) is the statewide public defender agency which provides legal representation to indigent clients throughout the State of Oklahoma, with the exception of Oklahoma and Tulsa counties.

Defense Counsel

Basic Purpose
Provide legal representation in non-capital cases, within the bounds and forums provided by law, in all phases of assigned cases.
Defense Counsel represent indigent individuals in state court at the trial level in felony, misdemeanor, juvenile delinquency, traffic and wildlife cases; Counsel is also responsible for providing clients with competent legal advice and zealous advocacy at every phase of the criminal trial process.

Job Description
Family Services Specialist I/II
is located in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Annual Salary:
Level I H14A: $37,440.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
Level II H14B: $40,248.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
In-person training will be provided.
Minimum Qualifications:
Level I:
Education and Experience requirements consist of two years of clerical office work in a business, public sector, or social work environment;
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting thirty semester hours of college for each year of the required experience.
Level II:
Education and Experience requirements consist of a bachelor's degree;
OR an associate's degree plus two years of clerical office work in a business, public sector, or social work environment
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of experience in professional business, public sector, or social work environment for each year of the bachelor's degree.
OR two (2) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist.
Preference Statement
Preference may be given to applicants with previous call center experience.

Must attend all mandatory training, including a two-week training academy held in Norman, OK. (Travel and lodging paid)
This position is designed for telework/work from home; however, the employee will be training in an office setting (in person) for the first 120 days and will be evaluated on performance before working from home full-time. All telework positions are subject to Agency Director approval.
Job Responsibilities
This position is for a customer service eligibility specialist who will provide world-class service to Adult and Family Services clients. The ideal candidate would demonstrate customer service, flexibility, and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include interviewing and processing electronic applications and renewals for all AFS programs (SNAP, CHILD CARE, and MEDICAL) while interpreting and applying policy and procedures, providing clear documentation of casework, and independently performing complex tasks.
The employee will provide first contact resolution for clients who prefer to conduct business through our virtual eligibility center or online platforms. All customer contact is handled primarily via phone, incoming and outgoing calls.
