The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for responding to and repairing property issues identified by our residents throughout the branch city market. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. * Review the calendar each day for assigned work orders to be completed. Key Responsibilities * Complete resident service requests promptly and with high-quality workmanship * Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems * Prepare apartments for new move-ins, including make-ready and unit turn processes * Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections throughout the property * Assist in maintaining the community's grounds, common areas, and curb appeal * Coordinate with the Property Manager and vendors to complete specialized or large-scale projects * Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies * Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records in an organized, safe manner Qualifications * 3+ years of apartment or multifamily maintenance experience * EPA-certified HVAC technician (required) * Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems * Must have own tools and reliable transportation * Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks indoors and outdoors * Positive, professional attitude and commitment to resident satisfaction Compensation & Benefits * Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) * Paid time off and holidays * Mileage or travel reimbursement (if applicable) * Supportive leadership team and opportunities for career advancement #ZIPDH BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
