JOB SUMMARY: The CCDF Caseworker is responsible for coordinating and administering direct child care services to program participants in the Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Rural areas. The CCDF Caseworker will monitor and coordinate activities in the field to ensure effective delivery of program services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university, with a degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or other related field.
OR
A minimum of four years of administrative experience, or any combination of experience, training, or other preparation which would indicate possession of the required knowledge, abilities and skills outlined in this position.

Knowledge of Program Administration principles and practices.
Knowledge of the Tribal communities, including anticipation of their organization and community needs.
Knowledge of the Child Care Development Fund program.
Knowledge of childcare programs and their needs.

Ability to interpret and apply Federal, State, ITCN and other program guidelines.
Ability to work effectively with the Tribal communities, community organizations, CCDF staff, ITCN staff and program representatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist the Program Director in overseeing the Casework teams for all offices.
Creating, implementing, and maintaining internal policies and procedures for casework positions.
Provide regular reports and updates to the CCDF Program Director regarding casework activities, program developments, and community engagement efforts.
Encourage and support casework team members in pursuing professional development opportunities, including Early Childhood Education credit hours and other relevant courses.
Stay updated with evolving program guidelines, regulations, and best practices in the field of childcare and early childhood development.
Ensure accurate record-keeping, data analysis, and timely submission of reports in compliance with program requirements.
Report to the CCDF Program Director of any employee violations within the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada employee handbook that may take place.
Act as a liaison between the CCDF Program Director and casework team members regarding any current team assignments.
Work directly with CCDF Consortium tribes that offer a certificate program to develop and improve quality child care services and increase the availability of child care.
Work directly with parents and community programs in all service areas to develop and improve Child Care services and responsible for casework-related outreach events.
Assist in creating timelines and executing project assignments assigned to the Las Vegas, Reno and Sparks offices.
Assist the Program Director with the hiring of staff and training of all new employees.
Approve all new client files, sign-in/sign-out sheets, re-determinations, reimbursements, acceptance letters and all correspondence needed for parents, providers and community program in the service areas to ensure all documents are in compliance at all times.
Manage the Casework software program for all caseworker files.
Certify and mange eligibility of program applicants and ensure verification documents are in accordance with program policies and procedures.
Provide orientation to participants and providers and assist participants with contracts and procedures.
Develop supply orders for all offices.
Work with Southern Nevada Advisory Councils, community groups and Tribal committees.
Monitor homes of participating CCDF providers in the service area in accordance with the ITCN CCDF Health and Safety Standards.
Obtain and manage CCDF emergency slots.
Conduct intakes and gather all necessary information for efficient processing of enrollment paperwork ensuring that all paperwork is in accordance with CCDF regulations.
Ensure confidentiality of employee, parent and child information that is received and managed.
Maintain parent files, redetermination of eligibility and notify parents and providers of eligibility in a timely manner.
Maintain the Child Care Assistance software and/or CCDF Database for program clients.
Provide resources and referral to parents who need additional assistance in other areas of need.
Refer all ineligible families to other child care programs in the communities.
Create and maintain relationships with community partners to advocate on behalf of Native American children.
Assist with monitoring and support of Tribal Child Care Centers, Tribal After School Programs and Family Child Care homes to ensure programs are in compliance with the CCDF Health and Safety Requirements and IHS protocols.
In partnership with tribal program leads, facilitate referrals for children and families with more intensive needs to the most appropriately available health, early intervention or mental health provider.
Provide technical assistance to tribal programs regarding children with social-emotional challenges, including the administration of screening and assessment tools as needed.
Work with Tribal Early Childhood Advisory Council (TECAC), community groups and Tribal committees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (continued)
Assist with CCDF Plan development and implementation as well as submitting required reports and budgets to the CCDF Program Director.
Stay abreast of the latest data and research as it relates to early childhood, the child care workforce and work/family issues.
Answer and assist with incoming calls for the Reno Central Field Office as needed.

Nevada Football is recruiting for an Assistant Coach. Assistant Coaches assist the Head Football Coach in assigned aspects of the Division I program, complying with university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. The Assistant/Associate Dean for Faculty Development is a key member of the Office of Institutional and Faculty Affairs leadership team, reporting to the Senior Associate Dean responsible for that office (SADIFA). This individual is expected to provide visionary leadership to strengthen UNR Med's academic programs, with a focus on the professional development of faculty. These programs align with the UNR Med institutional mission and Strategic Plan 2024-29 and UNR's Wolf Pack Rising, supporting faculty development across the continuum of medical education to enhance UNR Med's reach, impact, and reputation. The Assistant/Associate Dean collaborates closely with the SADIFA, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Senior Associate Dean for Biomedical Research, Associate Dean for Clinical Research, Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, Department Chairs, and other leaders at UNR Med, UNR and our major affiliate partners including Renown Health and the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care system.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy: Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of faculty development programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and strategic plans.
In the first 90 days, engage in a data-driven process to understand resources available in US-based faculty development programs and present high-yield ideas to chairs and faculty as you begin to formulate programmatic goals.
Develop, enhance and lead programs for faculty to maintain and improve their pedagogical and research skills and scholarship throughout their careers. Examples might include:

Faculty Support and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and engagement, providing resources and training for faculty in both physical and digital settings. Support faculty in creating portfolios for retention, promotion, and tenure.
Support faculty in developing individual strengths and interests that benefit the faculty and the University.
Support the career advancement and professional development of faculty as educators, clinicians, investigators, and leaders.
Collaborate with the leadership of UNR Med to identify programs/research opportunities for all faculty types, including volunteer faculty, to engage in and receive support with respect to scholarship and research
Retention of faculty:
Assist in efforts for faculty retention by collaborating with the SADIFA and the Associate Dean of Wellness to promote programs that create community for faculty
Provide special focus on faculty populations noted at high risk to leave academic medicine
Mentoring: Organize and manage mentoring programs, facilitating peer sharing of best practices.
Collaboration and Representation: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the leadership of Undergraduate Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education and Continuing Medical Education, to align curriculum, policy, and administration initiatives. Represent faculty development interests at academic advisory council meetings, including the UNR Med Faculty Council and work across the UNR campus and its multiple colleges and schools
Program Evaluation and Improvement: Liaise with leaders in faculty instructional evaluation processes, offering training and workshops to enhance teaching effectiveness. Identify and address faculty development needs through data-driven insights and reporting.
Faculty Development Initiatives: In addition to previous sections, the Assistant/Associate Dean for Faculty Development is expected to enhance faculty wellbeing through mentoring programs and develop faculty rewards and recognition programs; administer selection processes and funding support for professional development programs and develop and facilitate orientation programs for junior faculty to support career growth and retention.
Align faculty expectations with objectives, goals, tasks, and roles, ensuring recognition and rewards are in place.
Oversee faculty awards and recognition in the clinical, educational, research, and service missions.
Additional Academic Duties
0.50 FTE of this role will be allocated to perform academic functions such as clinical service or research. The academic home (department) for this role will be determined by the specialty and/or research portfolio of the successful candidate.
Clinical service will be performed in affiliation with one of UNR Med's partner institutions - Renown, Veteran's Administration Hospital, or the local emergency medicine or anesthesiology groups.
Research activity will take place within and with the support of one of UNR Med's Biomedical Science departments.

MD, PhD, MD-PhD or other relevant doctoral terminal degree
Experience in faculty development and medical-education administration in an allopathic medical school
Experience with multimodal learning techniques and adult learning styles

ROLE of the POSITION
University Police Department (UPD) is conducting a continuous recruitment for current and future openings for Retired Public Safety Dispatcher I. Positions may be assigned to any campus to include the College of Southern Nevada, Desert Research Institute, Nevada State College, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
UPD Public Safety Dispatchers serve as the gateway to and for emergency personnel for all NSHE Campuses in Clark County and coordinate responses with police, fire, medical and other emergency agencies. The public safety dispatcher is the centralized point of contact to gather information and direct emergency response agencies within the jurisdiction of UPD. Under general supervision, the public safety dispatcher receives, evaluates, prioritizes and dispatches public safety calls for service and responds to emergency and non-emergency calls in a timely and appropriate manner. The public safety dispatcher monitors all fire and burglar alarms to all buildings and offices on campus. The public safety dispatcher accesses the closed circuit television (CCTV) or security video cameras on campus. The dispatch center is operated 24/7, 365 days a year for routine and emergency calls for service. They also handle all after hours maintenance calls and contacts for the University.
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
The department is a full-service police department comprised of patrol operations, administration, police dispatch and a detective division. Services include a canine program, walking and bicycle patrols, and a pro-active, selective traffic enforcement program and takes a leadership role in preparing the University to respond to large-scale crises and events. The patrol area for UPD encompasses all Nevada System of Higher Education facilities in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area. This is a part-time position as a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor teaching CNA courses. In most cases course dates follow the eight-week schedules for Great Basin College and clinical practice days vary according to the schedule that is set per each instructor. Nevada State University invites applications for the position of 160 Hour Appointment - Art Models. Nevada State University is looking to build a database of models, who we can call from time-to-time to pose for our art classes. Models will perform short dynamic poses for warm-ups as well as hold longer more sustained poses for drawing sessions. Models may be scheduled for a variety of sessions according to their availability. Hours and locations (generally on campus and during regular class times) will be worked out with as much notice as possible.
Modeling involves posing for figure drawing and art classes. Students come to the classes with a range of art experience, and we have both male and female students in the classes. Models must be willing and able to pose nude.
Models will be expected to remain in the pose requested by the instructor for an extended period of time. The ideal model can pose in a range of traditional and original poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required, to demonstrate the flexibility and anatomy of the human form. Models should have an awareness of classic and traditional poses in art and be able to take direction.
Applicants should be punctual, professional, and reliable. All ages (must be at least 18 years old) and body types are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as an artist's model, or dance, acrobatic, or theater experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Description
The Great Basin College Learning Commons is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to serve as a Part-Time Proctor. This position plays a key role in supporting academic integrity by overseeing testing sessions for students across the GBC service area. In addition to in-person exam proctoring, the candidate must be willing to proctor on-site at the Elko campus using Zoom.
This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and a strong comfort level with technology and troubleshooting on multiple software platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to a secure, supportive testing environment for students and uphold institutional testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor a variety of exams, including placement tests, makeup exams, third-party certifications, and other institutional assessments.
Proctor exams in person at the Elko campus and virtually via Zoom for students across GBC's statewide service area.
Ensure the integrity of the testing environment by following established guidelines and procedures.
Verify student identities, explain exam rules, and ensure proper test accommodations are provided.
Set up and troubleshoot technical issues related to Zoom, webcams, screen sharing, and testing platforms and offer solutions for issues and provide direction to other sources if problems arise.
Maintain accurate records and incident reports related to test administration.
Participate in training and periodic updates regarding testing procedures, technology, and compliance requirements.
Assist with other Learning Commons duties as assigned, such as scheduling exams and answering student inquiries.
Required Qualifications::

Ability to learn and follow testing protocols precisely.
Technological proficiency, especially with Zoom, screen sharing, email, and web-based platforms.

Job Description
Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada seeks a full-time Business instructor for a tenure track appointment beginning for the Spring 2026 semester, at the main campus in Elko or one of GBC's Education Centers at Pahrump, Ely, or Winnemucca, Nevada.
The position exists in an established program within the School of Business, delivering both lower and upper division coursework in Associate and Bachelor of Applied Science (AAS and BAS) programs. The position requires an instructor with a broad background in business, project management, marketing or accounting. This successful candidate should have demonstrated ability and commitment to teach in these areas. In addition to instructional responsibilities, this position will be directly involved in scheduling and overseeing courses for the business programs.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree in a field related to business administration (such as an MBA) is required.
A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
Considerable professional experience in business, accounting, project management, supervision, and/or marketing is required.
Some previous experience teaching is required and teaching in a community college setting is desirable.
