My objective is to focus on the security policies of a domestic airport by identifying the role of TSA agents, airline employees, and airport employees in the communication process to support effective

airport security policies. My research documents the findings from a recently completed investigation- Ph.D. Dissertation of the predicament to what degree miscommunication among TSA, airline,

and airport employees has an impact on the implementation of changes in airport security policy,

particularly those policies regarding prohibited items that pass through security checkpoints
